Operating Schedule: Times vary depending on season.
Operates 9:00am to 6 pm (last tour departs Old Town at 4 pm) from March 11-October 29th; Operates 9:00am to 5 pm (last tour departs Old Town at 3 pm) from October 30th-March 10th;
Trolleys arrive at each boarding location approximately every 20 minutes.
Guests will be given brochures when they begin the tour and can refer to the schedules printed in the brochure to see the first tour time, last tour time, and last re-boarding time at each boarding location.
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Great Day Trip In San Diego Area! - A fun day. Start as early as possible to fully enjoy Balboa Park and Little Italy (for lunch). Pick ups are well marked and the driver (Tiger) was very informative and colorful which made the trip entertaining and enjoyable.

Worthwhile tour taking in most of the main sights. - We did this tour on our last day and wished we did it at the start of our trip to San Diego. So glad we had Benjamin as our guide for most of the journey as he was very entertaining, knowledgeable and kept us laughing all the way. San Diego Old Town was definitely the highlight for us and if we had another day we would have spent time in Little Italy and Balboa Park.

Great way to spend the first day! - Very fun way to spend a day! Such fun history. Park at the Old Town Station OR Balboa park for free parking. It was a little tricky to figure out where to park within Balboa but once we got more details from the website, it was smooth sailing. The drivers were fantastic. Take notes to come back to where you'd like to spend more time or take advantage of the on/off option.

Must do while in San Diego - The drivers are excellent. Knowledgable, personable, and witty!
Loved this but recommend starting early in the morning as the final buses end early (before 5pm) so to get the whole experience start by 9:00 for sure and maybe do a two day pass if you want to do things very leisurely because there was so much great stuff to see!

Great way to explore San Diego. - A lovely way to spend the day exploring San Diego without worrying about where to go and where to park. The drivers were well-informed and made the ride fun. Benjamin was particularly funny.

A Fun Way to Tour a City - This tour was highly recommended by our hotel concierge. It was an excellent way to see sites around our hotel & give us ideas of places to visit. Our tour guides/drivers were full of historical & fun facts. We hopped off to see sites twice, so we were entertained by a variety of guides. We returned to five of the sites to see more, because of the information we were given. We recommended this trolly tour to our Lyft drivers who were from San Diego, too! We'll definitely ride another Trolley Tour when we travel.

San Diego Trolley Tour - An ok tour. Not necessarily their fault however, there really isn’t that much to see. The park is probably the best. Definitely ignore the driver’s recommendation to eat at ‘Feliipes’, his ‘favourite restaurant’ in Little Italy, unless you want incredibly bland and mediocre food.

Plan to use it it ALL day! - I enjoyed the trolley in general, but I have some tips for folks.
First, start when they OPEN and try to use it ALL day. It isn't nearly as good of a deal when you can't really get off and see all the stops.
Second, I would appreciate more historical or comedic commentary from the 'conductors' (drivers). While I did learn a little, I would have liked to have learned far more. (And while Top Gun is interesting, it is NOT what I went on the Trolley for.)
