An Entertaining Evening - We had an amazing tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and pleasant. The food was outstanding. I would happily take this tour again the next time I'm in San Diego. After all, there's always more to learn and more to eat.

Great food and fun - We have taken many food tours around the world...Anthony gave us a great evening of food and fun facts about Little Italy in San Diego. We enjoyed each dish and appreciated the description of how the dish was prepared and the history behind it. Learning some fun facts about the city along the way was a bonus. We had a great group of people on our tour which made it extra fun.

Perfect blend of food and history - Our group of 3 joined 7 others for a fantastic trip through Little Italy food history. Anthony was an excellent host & guide, curating an authentic Italian experience for us as he welcomed us into his Little Italy family. We were expecting excellent food, and this tour certainly delivered (make sure you come hungry!). What I didn't expect was the VIP feeling of a behind-the-scenes look at the people past & present who have made Little Italy a unique piece of San Diego culture and history. Anthony selected a variety of dishes not only to give us a taste of Italian specialities but also to pull us into the unfolding story. And, in classic Italian fashion, Anthony greeted people by name all along the way, giving further credence to the sense of community. Initially I was a bit hesitant about sitting down to eat with strangers, but the Italian family-style dining and Anthony's hospitality soon had us feeling more like extended family meeting for the first time. By the end, we felt as though we'd been on a journey together and could genuinely wish each other well as we headed for our separate destinations. We highly recommend this experience!

This tour was so much fun, I did it twice with different people! - This was my second Taste of Little Italy, and I enjoyed it even more than my first. Previously, I had a golf buddy in town who wanted to do it, and last night, I took my wife. It was a fabulous experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and by the time we were done, everyone was totally satisfied. Anthony is the most knowledgeable, attentive, fun, and accommodating host and a walking computer of fascinating information on the history of Little Italy, the people, and the food. We highly recommend this tour for adults of all ages who enjoy Italian food. It's lots of fun!

Recommended for Visitors & Residents - Try 11 different and great foods for the price of a dinner out, all while listening to interesting stories from your guide. I live in San Diego/frequent little Italy and still tried a few new dishes and learned a lot. Regardless if you are visiting or already live here, definitely recommended. Thank you Anthony!

Book it and thank me later! - Anhonywas the best food guide…very enthusiastic and made sure we all had what we needed! Very much enjoyed meeting other people and also trying delicious food we might not otherwise know to try! So fun and highly recommend!

Little Italy - I am a local and though familiar with the restuarants we visited, I enjoyed the experience our tour guide Anthony provided. A little bit of Little Italys history, menu choices that I typically wouldn't think of ordering before, I would go back for now. This tour is excellent for visitors and locals, you should come hingry!

Little Italy Food Tour - What a great tour! We learned so much about the history of Little Italy! The tour leader, Adriana, was really energetic and you could tell that she was having as much fun as the group! Did I mention the great food? Pace yourself on this tour, there were so many things to try and ALL of it was so good! Really one of the best tours we've been on! Highly recommended!

Worth it! - Our tour guide Adriana was a wealth of history and fun facts. She was fun, funny, and took great care of us. The food was abundant and delicious. It included calamari, artichokes, gnocchi, minestrone soup, salad, risotto, Italian cookies, and gelato. You will be stuffed.
