Feel the exhilaration of piloting your own speed boat during a guided, narrated journey around the harbor of San Diego. You’ll be at the helm of your own speed boat for the entire expedition, trailing behind a trained and well-informed guide in a separate boat. Every boat has a two-way communication system installed, so you’ll be able to listen to your guide throughout the trip. This speed boat escapade is a wonderful opportunity to observe the stunning harbor of San Diego and get acquainted with its past while zipping across the water.
- Not recommended for people with neck or back problems or a recent surgery to participate. Pregnant women should not participate
- Bring a swimsuit in the summer and a jacket in the winter, sandals or flip-flops, towel, sun block, sunglasses
- The per boat weight limit of 425 lbs (205kgs)
- You must be 18 years or older to drive a boat by yourself
- The boats do not have a storage compartment
- No experience or boating license required

Great hands-on vslue! - Great way to see San Diego! Joanie, our guide did a great job and took all of the guesswork out of where to go. We went single file in small boars with 50 hp outboards and just followed the leader. Very comfortable and exciting to be on the bay in your own boat.

Great Fun - Great fun. Friendly Host. Loved it all! Saw lots of sea lions and birdlife as well as the chance to go fast on the boats. Seamed very safe yet had the thrill of speed!

Great experience, highly recommend it! - Exactly what is was looking for! A small, but very fast speedboat rental and a tour guide to show us around the San Diego Harbor and bay. Great tour. This adventure is really a must-do for any visiting San Diego. Most fun I had all vacation besides SeaWorld!

Best fun for the whole family! - Kids 9 and 12 had a blast! We were up really close with the sea lions, got super close and underneath the USS Midway. Totally awesome. The beautiful skyline and super fun speed boat experience makes it worth every penny. Our tour guide Captain David is great. Very friendly and funny. This tour is both educational and fun. Definitely recommend.

This was a tour like no other. It was exciting driving the boats while exploring some iconic spots on the bay. - This was an adrenaline pumping ride across the bay. It was an awesome way to check out some iconic spots around the bay. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
