Additional Information

Embark on an adventurous journey in your GoCar, dubbed as the world’s first car that tells stories, through the historic Little Italy, a segment of San Diego’s Old Town. Here, you’ll witness the blend of Mexican and Western culture. From Old Town, you’ll navigate towards Point Loma and Liberty Station, a one-time Naval Training Center that was shut down in 1997, and later transformed into a diversified development area featuring residences, recreational facilities, and hotels. Your GoCar will then lead you to Shelter Island, offering majestic views of the Attack Submarine Base. Make your way to the Cabrillo National Monument and the Point Loma Ecological Preserve, where an old lighthouse that once stood as a sentinel, can be found. As you traverse past the tide pools, it’s strongly suggested to halt and observe the marine life. End your journey cruising past the idyllic Sunset Cliffs, home to unique Ocean Beach Houses, charming private shops, and virtually devoid of chain businesses.

Love the GoCars! - I do GoCar tours every couple months! So much fun to see our city this way. The tour also gives you fun information that isn’t super well known. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable! Cassandra is always welcoming and kind and I love that I look so forward to catching up with her when I’m there. Truly one of my favor it people. I had the pleasure of meeting Billy ( I hope I’m remembering his name correctly) when I returned from our tour. He was super friendly, as well. Hope to see him again. Have I said how I love everyone there?😊 I’ve only ever had the best experience! I highly recommend doing the GoCars! You’ll love it!
