Great tour guide, food was meh - Loved our tour guide Blierta, and her tour was interesting with lots of local facts. First two food stops were great but the last was gross. Thankfully the ice cream at the end was good.

Dissapointed. - Disappointing. The guide, Aparna, was great. Friendly and informative. The food and drink portions were appropriate and felt to be the correct amount. At the first stop (Mexican restaurant), the margarita was excellant as was the food pairing. The next stop was a greek restaurant and very dissapointing. They served a very diluted sangria spiced with cinnamon and a bland chicken quesadilla. They did have a nice pepper sauce condiment, but this one bright spot did not make up for the food and beverage. The third stop was an Irish pub that served an Irish mule (supposedly made with Irish whiskey) and did not have any whiskey paired (basically iced ginger beer) with a shepards pie that was bland and cold. The last stop was an ice cream shop that was fine, but nothing special. Whoever puts the tours together needs to have restaurants with better offerings to offer this tour. Not impressed with the offerings and expected more iconic San Diego food - burrito, seafood, taco, etc.
