- Cabrillo National Monument - We will drive past Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery on the way to Cabrillo National Monument. Spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and sweeping views of the San Diego Bay. You will be able to see all of Downtown and across to Coronado Island. They have a visitor center, nice walking trail past the small lighthouse that you can climb and incredible views all around.
- Sunset Cliffs Natural Park - Drive along Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and take some great photos of the rugged cliffs that are spectacular.
- La Jolla Cove - See sea lions basking in the sun in beautiful La Jolla.
- Balboa Park - See botanical gardens and lovey Spanish architecture.
- Old Town San Diego State Historic Park - Stop off at Old Town Historic Park for a look around, it’s the birthplace of California and where in all began. You will see them making hand made tortillas outside Cafe Coyote on San Diego Avenue. Great place if you want to have a quick margarita.

First on our itinerary is a visit to the magnificent Cabrillo National Monument, which offers some of the finest views in San Diego! We will then proceed to witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach. From there, we go north to the charming town of La Jolla to watch sea lions and enjoy its picturesque beaches. We will return south to admire the striking Spanish architecture of Balboa Park, constructed to commemorate the inauguration of the Panama Canal. Our next exploration is the historic Old Town San Diego, known as the Birthplace of California. You’ll have ample time to purchase a keepsake, sip on a Margarita, and capture some memories on camera. Our journey concludes at the renowned Hotel Del Coronado, simply known as the Del, built in 1888. As a 22-year resident of San Diego, I’m well-acquainted with the lay of the land. If you prefer to linger at some stops and move quickly through others, that’s perfectly alright. I’m excited to introduce you to what many call America’s finest city - you’re going to adore it!!!
