Additional Information

You’ll commence your journey in the charming neighborhood of Little Italy, before venturing into San Diego’s Old Town. This area offers a blend of Mexican and western cultural influences. From Old Town, your next stop will be Point Loma, leading to Liberty Station. Formerly the Naval Training Center of San Diego, the training facility was converted into a multifunctional hub of residential, recreational, business, hospitality, and educational spaces, when the center shut down in 1997.

Subsequent to Liberty Station, you’ll head to Shelter Island, presenting a splendid view of the Attack Submarine base. As you travel to Cabrillo National Monument and the Point Loma ecological preserve, you can observe the ancient lighthouse. It once guarded the jagged coastline, illuminating treacherous marine paths for seafarers and fishermen. Concluding your excursion, you’ll traverse the eternally romantic Sunset Cliffs and enter into the quirky Ocean Beach neighborhood. *Please note: For bookings of more than 2 individuals, place separate orders!

So glad we chose this tour ! - Car was great, the guy who checked us in and gave us the training portion of our trip was top notch! The tour itself was informative and the GPS narrative was helpful and funny!

San Diego - 3hr Point Loma Tour - Super easy to operate & gave us lots of time to jump out and look around. Easy to navigate the route & didn’t get lost. Finished tour early.

Fun and enjoyable - Different way to sight see while being fun and interactive. Tried the early am tour. Watched a quick video, picked out helmets and got assistance getting quick recap on our car. Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful day and gps was pretty good about 95% of time. A couple of times sound blarred or blacked out, but never felt confused. It gave good directions with tidbits of history or sights of point loma. Was fun activity for 2 parents and 2 teen boys.

Great way to see the city - Great way to experience San Diego on your own. GPS guides and talks but you can leave route to see other things. The electric go car was awesome.

GoCar Adventure - We took the 3 hour Pt. Loma Tour and had a great time. Appreciated the commentary on the sites we passed (some need updating), and the tour route took us by some beautiful spots. We were blessed with a beautiful day and especially enjoyed the Cabrillo Monument point and the ride along Sunset Cliffs.

Plesent - The military sectors were plesent and beautiful, just beware the yellow go cars are really small and fast, if you're tall, try the $15 up grade to the much bigger faster and Electric models

VERY INCONVINIENT - This is a vehicle for few minute ride around your neighborhood! and you dont need it at all! It is very small, the driver's arm is infront of next passenger; it is not desined to have room for 2, but also it is not desined for one person to be able to use the JPS; so you need to be 2 in car, but only if each are below 100 pound, you both will have room! Very unsafe, very uncomfortable to sit at and very unpleasant!

NOT SAFE!!! FAULTY VEHICLES - We stopped at Point Loma, parked the car, and left to take pictures. When we came back the car had slid and hit another vehicle on its own. Because of the faulty parking break we lost half of our tour. We asked for a refund or partial refund for the time we didn’t get to do and they refused. They basically said we were lying and will not refund us. Please save your money and don’t use their faulty vehicles.
