A fun adventure in Old Town San Diego - We had a great time playing this Game/Scavenger Hunt. It was fun and informative. You should try it out for yourself

Fun hunt, terrible leaderboard - We were disappointed in the leaderboard. It appears to be arbitrary and doesn't have actual rankings. First time I've seen a scavenger hunt leaderboard structured like this. Sadly we won't be participating in any future Riddle Routes hunts because of this :(

A Very Fun Way to See Old Town - We took a chance on this not knowing if it would work with our grandchildren 12 & 15 or what to expect. It was awesome for both adults and teens. The activities were varied, challenging and interesting with a variety of riddles to solve. It was also active with walks around Old Town that burned some of that energy of a 12 year old boy. It was collaborative in a non competitive way. We had a great time and enjoyed an outdoor activity.

Fun Way to Explore Old Town San Diego - What a great way to explore and learn about Old Town San Diego! There were a variety of puzzles. It was well-thought out and a lot of fun! I highly recommend it!

A Three-Generational Challenge - We got so involved solving the riddles that we didn’t look at all of the attractions in Old Town San Diego! That was our one regret; although we all saw it as partly beneficial since we spent less money by not going into the many stores!

Fun, self-paced experience - This was a really fun experience! We were looking for something we could do on our own in the area, since we didn't really want a "private" tour where we'd be with other people. This let us go at our own pace and take more time in a few areas where we wanted to see a bit more of what Oldtown had to offer. We did this on Dia de los Muertos so the area was a lot more crowded than it usually would be, but that just added to the experience. We'll definitely be doing the one in Carlsbad in the near future!

Walked and saw things differently. - Looking for the different stops. Some where a bit challenging. The last one for sure. Learned a few interesting facts.

Good Family Fun Activity - We enjoyed walking around Old Town, discovering the various clues and their answers. I did learn some new things. One thing I thought and hoped for was learning more about the history of Old Town. We did your Downtown San Diego tour last Christmas season, and I felt like I really learned a lot about San Diego's history although we've lived in San Diego for over 35 years. The Old Town tour was still fun, and I would recommend it to others.

Easy - Easy, interesting, low-pressure, fun... The whole area is a tourist trap, but having the app to play with made it a more enjoyable experience. Next time, I would delay purchasing the game until the day I plan to play, because weather changes, plans change, etc. The stage area where we needed to see murals to answer the question was decorated for Christmas, and we couldn't see the murals. So guess what? We missed that question!

Not for us - Not for us. We didn’t like looking at my phone so much, and it was taking too long. My son and I wanted to see the sites and hear the stories. Next time we will probably choose an audio tour instead so that we can look and walk around more.
