Chasing La Jolla History with Chas! - Chas is amazing and engaging! I have been to La Jolla many times and never knew about its rich history. We learned how this community was shaped by women of the past who laid a foundation that sustains it today. The story of the Scripps Family and their legacy seeding the growth of many philanthropic projects. All my senses were engaged as Chas told the story, walked us along the path of history to see and touch the buildings, and smell and taste the sea. He shared pictures of the buildings as originally built in contrast to today. The current planning for the seal and bird populations was also shared -so interesting. If you want to spend an insightful afternoon book this trip!
