Amazing Cave Tour - We wanted to do a kayak tour and saw the listing for this. We did the 11 o’clock Saturday tour. It was such a delightful experience from start to finish and I wish I could mention everyone’s names but I forgot to grab them all. I was given a shabby vest at first and when the guide saw it on me was like nope let’s get you a better vest. You could tell they were very safety minded and wanted you to have fun. Our guides were Danielle and I think Trevor? They were a great team and when one kayaker told him he was having anxiety he started talking to him about mindless things to distract him and helped calm the guy down. They were a great team and I hope I got the male guides name right or close to right.

Always surf the wave! - We had an amazing experience today with Chandler! He was patient, knowledgeable and very authentic and kind! Best of all we surfed the wave in without dumping! Thanks Chandler for a great day!!! 😃

AWESOME SEA KAYAKING!! - We had an awesome time sea kayaking and learning about the ecosystems in the ocean surrounding La Jolla! We got to see numerous animals, the conditions were right so we got to go into one of the sea caves, and had a great time!! Our guides Reed and Pat were excellent - definitely recommend them if you go!!

Such fun - Such fun even though we couldn't go into caves and didn't see any leopard sharks, we did see lots of dolphins! Guides Trevor and Nate were great!

Disappointing - If it is rough water, which I believe it is very often, you cannot enter the caves. I did not get to go in the caves, so it was only a kayak excursion in the ocean, near the caves. The tour operators do not tell you that you might not be able to enter the caves until you are almost at them. That is when we were told we couldn’t go in.

Birthday Trip - A couple things I would like to say in regard to our trip for my friends birthdays. The guides were great!!! I think the names were Corbert (??? been there a year) and the other one Jason (??? teacher, from AZ???) Anyhow, they were great. The description of the trip was NOT what it was. It said we would see 6 or 9 caves. Wrong. We only saw 1. Also, I think it would be important to coach people on how to come in to the shore. Ty

Good exercise! - It’s possible I missed the fine print but if the water conditions aren’t optimal, you don’t get into the caves, only on the Pacific. Which is what we experienced. Thank you John for all the instructions and guidance to keeping us safe on the water. Be prepared to get wet and the water is chilly!

Not a Sea Cave experience - regular kayaking - It should not be called Sea Cave experience - from the 90 minute experience, we spent 45 seconds inside the cave.

Awful and unkempt - Absolutely awful place, dirty and unhygienic, I've took my children here multiple times and every single time they come home with the sickness bug, the place is filthy and dangerous, the mats are supposed to be soft for children but they are all hard, ripped and dangerous and the staff members don't even want to be there so I don't know why they applied for this job as they clearly don't like children, my son had a nasty injury and he cut his mouth open after falling on a mat and the staff weren't even bothered and they walked straight past him clearly seeing all of his blood everywhere but they just didn't care so I was left trying to clean it all up with wet wipes and toilet paper!!!! This place is just horrendous and the food is always very old so my children won't even eat it!! This place needs shutting down or taken over by different management completely!!!!
