highlight of the SD trip - snorkeling was so much fun. we went to La Jolla cove and it was packed with kayaks and other snorkelers but not terrible for a Saturday. the water was clear, we saw tons of fish, seals, and even a stingray. definitely recommend.

It was so wonderful we... - It was so wonderful we really enjoyed our visit I would recommend this to anybody who loves to be in the water

Good times - We had never been snorkeling before so we really enjoyed ourselves. The check-in process was good, the woman who checked us in got 9 of us in and out in no time. The water was beyond beautiful, the current was a little intense at times but we got to see a lot of fish and sea lions and one of the California state fish! Would definitely do it again and rent through the same company.

Had fun - The water was a little choppy. A few people told me that, and I didn't know what that meant until I got in the water. I had been to the beach before, but never went that deep. I only went out about a middle of the way (and other people were out further), but the water was pushing me around. Some people were able to stand still at the shallower depths, but I needed to do small hand movements (in the water) to stay stable, and in one spot. I started out clumsy, especially since I rented fins, but I was able to coordinate myself a little to change the direction I was facing (head on) to brace, and/or, adapt to incoming waves. I started out with hand movements and eventually got coordinated with the long fins (I mostly walked and planted my feet a certain way, and that took a while. I was able to tread water and swim short distances after a while. Short distances because my calf muscles would cramp up very briefly because I had not been swimming in a long, long time.). Anyway, I had fun, and will do it again after I take a break from all that physical exertion.

Snorkeling - It was amazing to see all the fish and wildlife growing below my feet!! And the sea lions swimming right in front of us was crazy! It was so much fun for my first time. Would definitely go again in a heartbeat

Experience - The experience was fantastic. Seeing fish so close up was awesome. Seeing the sea lions and seals so close up was excellent

No accommodations for handicapped people - We were not able to get down to LaJolla Cove as we had a handicapped person with us. It was the only option given to us. Total waste of time and money for my party of 7

Not what we expected - We may have misread the details as we thought this included a guided tour for snorkeling. The man who we saw at the shop was very "stiff" and wasn't eager to help us at all. We even called initially and the same person didn't care to clarify what we got. Even to determine how we were going to set out on our adventure it felt like we were bugging him to get info on where we can go. This place could try to be more clear or even more understanding of their customers, readily have available info for customers who may inquire a little more info. Otherwise, we made the best of our experience at La Jolla Cove. We were slightly disappointed from the shop that almost discouraged us from going at all. We definitely had fun but next time we'll just buy all of our gear opposed to renting them... especially from a shop that comes off a bit crass.

Terrible. Unreliable - The people weren’t even there when we had made our reservation for. We called and they said they wouldn’t be back for another hour. Don’t recommend. Super unreliable. And I still haven’t received my refund!!!

Crap! - This was a terrible experience!!!! We reserved tickets for snorkeling, show up at la Jolla water sports and they were CLOSED!! We call the number and they tell us that snorkeling is out of season and they're out on a boat doing a tour!!!!!! Why were we able to purchase tickets, GET CHARGED AND NOT GET A REFUND WHEN REQUESTED????! This was handled very poorly start to finish!
