The group option departing from northern Tenerife with included transport is available exclusively on Wednesdays and Sundays. - Mirador de Jardina - Our initial stop will be at this scenic viewpoint. The drive typically takes about 30 minutes from the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Cruise Port, and around 70 minutes if traveling from the southern part of the island.
- Las Montanas de Anaga - We will travel to the trailhead, a journey of about 30 minutes. Our path leads us through the heart of a dense, ancient laurel forest, eventually bringing us to a unique village.
Here, you will witness an extraordinary lifestyle: half of the homes are constructed directly into the cliffs, forming traditional cave houses. It offers a captivating insight into how the local residents have harmonized their homes with the natural rock for generations.
- Parque Rural de Anaga - Our hike begins by ascending a specially maintained official trail. This path allows us to explore deep into the ancient laurel forest while remaining right on the mountain’s crest.
- Mirador Pico del Ingles - At this site, we will make two separate stops at breathtaking viewpoints. One of them provides a stunning 360° panoramic view on clear days, offering a complete perspective of the island’s rugged beauty.
You will also have the chance to walk through the relict laurel forest. This is a rare opportunity to see firsthand the ancient endemic species that have thrived on Tenerife since before the last Ice Age. It is a living museum of natural history.
- San Cristobal de La Laguna - Our return journey takes us through San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the first capital of Tenerife. From here, the drive to Santa Cruz de Tenerife takes about 30 minutes, while reaching the southern part of the island will take approximately 60 minutes.
