Revving Up in La Fortuna

The moment I arrived at La Naciente, the private farm just minutes from La Fortuna’s bustling downtown, I knew I was in for a treat. As a former extreme sports athlete, I’ve had my fair share of adrenaline-pumping experiences, but the promise of tearing through the Costa Rican countryside on an ATV was a new thrill I couldn’t resist.

As we continued our journey, the trails opened up, and we found ourselves crossing natural puddles, the spray of water and mud a refreshing reminder of the untamed wilderness we were exploring. The Arenal River awaited us, a perfect spot to pause and capture the moment with photos, the backdrop of the rainforest a stunning testament to nature’s grandeur.

On the way back, we stopped at Rancho La Poza, where the promise of a snack and a dip in the outdoor pool awaited. The watermelon slices were a sweet, juicy reward after hours of adventure, and the cool water of the pool was a welcome relief from the heat of the day.

As I floated in the pool, reflecting on the day’s adventure, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the experiences that continue to fuel my passion for travel.
