Ecoterra, has it ALL! - I booked with Ecoterra for both a Night tour with dinner and a La Fortuna combo 4 tour. Let me tell you the scoop if you did just these two things you’ll be set for your trip, of course there’s a ton of things to do in Costa Rica, but if you didn’t do these 2 tours you are missing out!! I love learning and I felt like a kid again Exploring the unknown the night tour was nothing g short or amazing! Plenty of wildlife to be seen I wish i remembered our tour guides name because, bravo 👏 super knowledgeable, and dinner was delicious it was the right way to start my vacation. Now the combo tour, we went to the hanging bridges, arenal falls, arenal volcano, and the Baldi hot springs. Was it a long day? Yes! Was it worth it? Most definitely!! Harvin was our guide and I’m soo glad he was, not sure if you can request, but if you could he will not disappoint, it was like he was a walking google for the rainforest. Lol every question he had an answer, as if he knew every little detail of the rainforest. Throughout the tour we saw sloths, 3 different types of snakes, all sorts of exotic insects, birds and lizards. Other than the amazing scenery, Harvin himself made the tour that much enjoyable, he was very personable, patient, knowledgeable and he just had a greatest attitude, he even got me to eat a termite! Smaller than a grain of rice but still haha great experience, a must try.

Excellent tour, wonderful experience - Our guide, Minor, was excellent. He was so personable, funny, patient and very knowledgeable. It was apparent how much he loves Costa Rica and his enthusiasm was infectious. There was no question that he couldn’t answer. We had an amazing day and learned/saw so much in 9 hours.

A 10/10 day - The organization was perfect, no downtime but moments to rest sufficiently between activities, beautiful explanations and clear instructions. Friendly, funny and caring guides who were a real gold mine of information. We loved our day: Arenal Volcano, waterfall, dinner, suspension bridges, Baldi spa and dinner. Just positive!!!

Wonderful Tour - We had an all day experience, starting with the Hanging Bridges where we saw so many of Costa Rica‘s animals. Our guide Elena taught us what we should not do to keep the animals safe. Don’t disturb, touch, feed, or call them. Then we went to the waterfall where we walked 500 stairs down to the water and 500 stairs up. And it was worth it! Next was a lunch where we had a traditional Costa Rican meal. Then to the Arenal Volcano. As we were walking up there, we saw a large group of spider monkeys. So very exciting! Our guide gave us history and information about the volcano. Then we went to the Baldi Hot Springs, where we enjoyed the comfortable waters. And to end our evening we had dinner. This was a wonderful tour that I would recommend to everyone.

Great Experience! - This was really well worth every penny. I did the four experience combo-Arenal Volcano, Fortuna Waterfall, Lunch, Mystic Hanging Bridges, Baldi Hot Springs, & Dinner. It was a long day; however, if you have the stamina for it-book it! The tour guide, Josué, was awesome.

Great 1/2 day tour - Our guide Elana was great, helped us see lots of wildlife we would never have seen without her. Hanging bridges park was beautiful and swimming by the waterfall was fun. The 500 steps down and up from the waterfall are a little brutal, but worth it.

Top 3 combo - Richard was a great guide. Our day started with the hanging bridges, then waterfall, lunch and ended with the volcano (I did the top 3 tour). We had the same driver/van all day which was very convenient to bring only select things on each segment of the tour. For anyone worried about the 500 steps at the waterfall, you can do it! Take it slow, there are many spots you can stop along the way. The waterfall is absolutely stunning from the bottom, I highly recommend making the trek. Lunch was surprisingly delicious. The volcano hike was a bit lackluster for me. Be sure to wear shoes with good traction as the area around the volcano is quite sandy. For those who did the tour including the hot springs, I recommend confirming with the company which hot springs you will be visiting. There was some confusion at the end of the tour as people were dropped off at different hot springs and given varying pick up times, as opposed to all sticking together like we had all day. In the end, great tour and highly recommend!

Very informative and a really full day. - Covering all three areas in one day was a lot. We had two different guides and one driver. They were all excellent and knew the area well. The waterfall and hanging bridges were the best. The trail for the volcano was very rugged and with the rain, kind of slick. If I were to do it again, I would do the volcano on a different day. We are good walkers, but 500 stairs on the waterfall and the volcano trail climb was pushing it, We were pretty sore the next day, but we handled it fine. Our group was two couples in our 60's.
