Arenal Ecoglide Park - The Canopy Tour of Arenal Ecoglide Park is located 3.5 km west of the Catholic temple in La Fortuna de San Carlos, was built following the standards required by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute and National Insurance Institute. It consists of two cables, one sliding and the other independent cable for greater security of our users.
It consists of 11 cables, 13 platforms and a suspension bridge, the tour is divided into two sections. Nine of these platforms are in the trees, where visitors can have greater contact with nature, while releasing adrenaline in a healthy and safe way.
Within the route we can find the Tarzan Swing, which consists of a swing where we jump from a platform to a void in a forest clearing rocking for several times with special equipment, until we leave all our worries, its height reaches almost 40 meters.
The tour is distributed in 2 sections:
• The first consists of 6 cables and 7 platforms, with lengths up to 210 meters long and an average height of 25 meters.
• At the end of this second stage is the Tarzan Swing.
• And the second consists of 5 cables and 6 platforms, with lengths ranging from 100 meters to 430 meters.

Zip line and Tarzan swing - We searched for something that we could do with our kids (11,9 and 6) with a varying degree of fears around the idea of doing it. 1st time ever zip lining and it was AMAZING!! Jordan was the best guide!! All the kids had a blast. The middle kid did the Tarzan swing and loved it! The little one was a tad scared and went with a guide a couple times then on her own. What a great experience. I would highly recommend it!

Best Zipline at Arenal - Tons of fun! Great lines, awesome views! Staff and guides were the best! Refreshments and cold towels at the end. DO THE TARZAN SWING TOO! Pura vida!

Very good choice - We love the zip lines. Staff made us feel very safe. Some zip lines went really fast and even when it started raining we still got to do the zip line. The only downside is that it was over too soon.

Tarzan Pulled My Leg Off - ZIP LINE 5/5
Superb zip lining experience. Crew effectively explained harness and breaking mechanics. The journey down the mountain was made up of numerous zip lines, each pausing and/or changing direction on platforms, some of which mounted on trees. These stations felt secure and safe, and we were always clipped in our harnesses at all times. Views were spectacular. 5/5 would recommend.
TARZAN SWING 2/5
Upon reaching the Tarzan swing, we were clipped in from an elevated platform onto the swing. Once secure, the gate holding us was opened and we were released. Immediately, the feel of pure adrenaline kicks in, but after just one swing, you are abruptly stopped by a crew member suddenly yanking you by the leg to slow you down, rather than letting you continue to swing. One visitor in another group almost lost their shoe. This is unacceptable, ecoglide must explore other options to slow the swing more smoothly without physical contact, or let it slow naturally over time.
