Unmissable Tour in La Fortuna - The tour was amazing and very well organized. Mario, our guide, made the experience even better with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Hanging Bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall and Arenal Volcano are must-see stops. Highly recommended!

A wonderful day visiting Hanging Bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall and the Arenal area. - Our guide Mario showed us plants & animals, we would have never spotted on our own and, we learned about the history of the vulcano and the impact of Arenal on the area and the people around La Fortuna.
It has been a wonderful day.

Perfect way to see all the sights of La Fortuna - Great tour to see the highlights of La Fortuna. Our guide, Mario, was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. We lucked out with perfect weather for all of the activities. It is especially helpful to have a knowledgeable guide for the hanging bridges as we would have missed so much of the wildlife.

La Fortuna best sites - One of the best experiences in costa rica. The hanging bridges was a one of kind experience. The la Fortuna waterfall was well worth the trek down and the Arenal volcano is such an amazing sight. The best of the entire experience was our tour guide Mario. He was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He catered to our every need. He knew where to get the best pictures. If you are using this tour company ask for Mario as your tour guide.

Pollos locos - We had the best time... our group guide Mario was unbelievable and our group was amazing! Even still he helped me through the fear of those bridges...We got so lucky with the weather and saw so many things! Still feeling those 500 steps though many days later 😂

- Special setting and pleasant excursion. Slight walks and breaks for photographs or chatting.
Mario, the guide, made the experience a pleasant and very very fun time. (Spanish and English).

Really nice waterfall - would recommend - Try to choose your day to attend carefully as if it has been raining you won’t be able to swim in the waterfall. It is quite a spectacular view from the top and the bottom. (don’t get me wrong this is no Niagara Falls) but it’s quite impressive considering it’s next to the volcano. There is about 550 steps you have to go down they recommend it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to get down and over half an hour to get back up.
We were lucky enough to witness a marriage proposal right in front of the waterfall, which certainly added to the ambience.
There are two separate areas that you can swim in if it is open for swimming, again weather permitting.
The price of this cost £15 per person this was also booked through TripAdvisor. Try not to get ripped off by using local companies as they obviously add on their percentages.
There is free parking if you are driving and there is a calf toilet and showers at the top. If you want to reserve lunch, you need to do this in advance as the tables get booked up quite quickly.

Tour with lots of potential but disappointing - The package DE la tour is really worth it, as it includes access to mystical park, the falls DE la fortuna and a visit to the sand volcano, however, one DE most importantnt point of a tour is the guide, and in our opinion ours was NO match, since DE la first moment it gave the feeling of going "in your air" and having a hurry POR finish; its easy jokes EN occasion made us feel uncomfortable and gave the feeling DE constant mockery towards the tourists.
EN the visit to mystic park the rain accompanied us and that caused the visit to be accelerated POR the guide, it seemed that he liked NO rain. This fact was confirmed, as EN route to the falls he stayed EN van, leaving us alone EN a "self-guided" tour DE instead DE accompanying us as the rest DE guides did with their visitors, and with shorter times DE DEscribing the activities which allowed us to see the falls with NO peace of mind or access the butterfly.
His knowledge DE la nature also did not seem very deep POR he could bring NO knowledge about the fauna and flora we saw, ES this fact is significant, since EN other tours we have done today and the knowledge of the guide marks the different. ENdo sums up a tour that could potentially be very complete but stays in DE disappointing due to the attitude of our guide Mario.
