Great Trip! - Wonderful experience! So glad I booked! Gabriel was a wonderful translator and kept us engaged the entire trip! The musical performances were the best part! The people of the town are very friendly and the food was delicious! We all learned so much and were privileged to be allowed into the community.

An Unforgetrsble and Poweful Tour - We had an incredible time at the Palenque. We speak only a little Spanish, so they gave us a very nice and helpful translator. We started with him explaining a mural, which encompasses the main aspects of the region. We then heard from four other natives - a musician (we played instruments and got a souvenir too!) a museum keeping their ancestral knowledge (we helped crush maíz), we put on boxing gloves and learned a few moves and the history of palenquero boxers, and drinker herbal tea at the medicine man’s spot. We ended with incredible food and drinks. Water and an umbrella was provided. An unforgettable experience, a must do while in the area!
