A fantastic experience - We visited this beautiful bodega in the heart of Lanzarote. During our two hour tour we enjoyed hearing about the complete wine making process, from grape to bottle. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide then invited us to sample 6 different El Grifo wines, that were paired with locally produced cheeses. A fantastic experience from start to finish. I thoroughly recommend that you try it!

Informative and tasty tour! An enjoyable afternoon. - We found this tour to be very informative. While walking in the vineyard, we learned about the challenges of growing grapes in this climate and harsh soil. Our guide also taught us about the history and techniques still being developed by this very old winery. Guests are given a pouch to wear around the neck because you taste two wines while you walk though the vineyard. Afterwards, we gathered in a very nice tasting room for 4 more wines, each accompanied by a different Canary Island cheese. Of course the wines are available for purchase in store. There is ample parking and a separate wine bar/restaurant on the property too.

Discover - El Grifo is one of the oldest wineries in all of Spain, and certainly one of the most original, and renowned, between tradition and modernity. Manrique, again left his imprint and the effigy of the estate. Visit the museum, the cactus garden. Superb view around and recommends going to visit the neighboring vineyard plots. Wine of character produced from volcanic malvoisie or sometimes unexpected blends for red (syrah, pinot and tempralino) , which can be tasted.
