Interesting piece of American history! - This was a very interesting place to visit with lots of history talked about on the downloadable app to use while driving through the park. There was a working farm to walk to where many tasks were being done in the same way as LBJ would have seen in his younger life. We saw where both he and Lady Bird were buried (family cemetery on the grounds), the old school he'd attended, his plane hangar, and other sites. The home itself was not open due to renovations being done over a several year period. It sounds like it will be quite nice when it reopens in a few years.

A great tour to see and learn about Texas Hill Country - An amazing tour to the Texas Hill Country. Learned ton of history about the area and the state of Texas. Plenty of time to see many points of interest in Fredericksburg during the 2-hour stop. We even managed to visit the Pioneer Museum and Vereins Kitchen. Great country music around the fire pit in Luckenbach. Domingo was a great guide.

Cool way to explore Texas hill country - This was a great way to explore the hill country. Fredericksburg was busy on the Saturday but good to see. LBJ ranch was a good stop with a lot of history to explore. We really enjoyed the stop at Luckenbach since they had the Christmas market happening which was very entertaining. We would have really enjoyed to have had a few hours there. Our last stop was a winery which seemed to be a hit withe group.

A really nice day trip outside of San Antonio - This was a really nice all day tour to spend a day outside of the city. Eric was a very knowledgeable tour guide full of tons of information about the places that we went on this tour as well as information about San Antonio and the Alamo. The LBJ Ranch was really beautiful and interesting. The Town of Fredericksburg was great and I enjoyed the free time to check out the shops and have a great German lunch. Luckenbach was a real gem. Glad we went there to check it out. And the wine tasting was a nice way to end the tour.

Texas Hill Country - beautiful!!! - This tour was a great introduction to Texas Hill Country. The area is beautiful! We especially enjoyed the tour of the LBJ ranch. Our driver/guide, Domingo, was awesome!! He gave us so much insight into the area and shared with us a great deal of historical information about Texas in general. Don't hesitate to book this tour - ask for Domingo.

Could be a 5 star - Could be a 5 Star if something changed. Luckenbach stop was only 20 minutes. Just long enough to go to restroom and gift store and quickly drink a beer. I could have stayed one hour. Wine stop was 30 minutes. You feel like you are in a shack. I was thinking we where going to nice vineyard. I would skip this or stop somewhere nice. Fredericksburg is 2 hours. We waited to get a table one hour for lunch and had no time for anything else. You can do wine tasting in this town but it was $30 for 4 tastings. I’m not sure what to think about this town but there’s not enough time to eat and taste. Decide before you go what you want to do. Lyndon Johnson was interesting and just enough time to ride the ranch and visit the Visitors Center. The Little White House is closed. The most important advice I can give is go to the Visitors Center to buy your tickets or go online and enter the discount coupon. There are coupons on the back of the city map. I didn’t get the discount code until after I payed full price but could have saved $30. And I called someone at the office that didn’t give me the code after I asked for senior pricing. They made me pay full price.
