I present an alternative option. A unique, historically-oriented lunch tour focused on local bars.

My name is Emzy. I’ve spent two decades introducing visitors to my hometown, and I would like to invite you to join me for lunch.

Our journey begins at the globally renowned Alamo, where I will give a summary of the historical battle. From there, we will move to a locally-owned, award-winning bistro on the riverwalk for lunch, followed by a visit to the famous Menger Bar for a post-meal beverage. This bar is known for entertaining Teddy and his Rough Riders. With our drinks, we’ll then roam around the oldest hotel west of the Mississippi River, unveiling its numerous secrets, including the story of why it’s allegedly the most haunted hotel in Texas.
