Additional Information

San Antonio offers a plethora of pedestrian and supernatural exploration tours. The majority are conducted by guides dressed in period costumery, leading large groups through a standardized narrative amidst commonly recognized landmarks.

I propose a different experience. It’s a unique, tailored, historical tavern exploration.

I am Emzy. For more than two decades, I’ve been introducing visitors to my beloved hometown. I welcome you to accompany me on a delightful afternoon of mixed drinks and engaging chats about history at two of Texas’ most well-known taverns.

Our adventure begins at Alamo Plaza where we quickly stroll to the oldest tavern in Texas. This establishment houses one of the world’s largest collections of preserved wildlife and a museum dedicated to the Texas Rangers. Both will be explored with a refreshing beverage in hand. ($22 value). Then we proceed to the same bar where Teddy Roosevelt gathered his Rough Riders before we uncover the history of the oldest hotel in the West. It’s a genuine Texas Two Step experience!

Please note, food and drinks are not included in the tour price.

The route is suitable for underaged participants. Please, don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
