Without blood, without tears, there’s no…ghost tour? - Chris was great! Very knowledgeable and his stories of the spooky history of San Antonio were captivating and chilling! We visit S.A every few months and he was helpful with recommendations on where we should explore next. 10/10 experience!

Great Guides Poorly Managed Company - The tour itself was great..once it finally happened. I booked the Madams and Mayhem Tour. It was scheduled to start at 9:00 at the Bexar County Court House. We get confirmation on that, perfect we will be there 15 mins early. Then we get a call just after 7:00 PM saying that because we were the only two people to book the tour they were cancelling our tour and moving us to a different time slot of 8:00 PM. That would have been ok if we had not just ordered food and was waiting on it to be delivered to out hotel room. We think of we can still make it as it is only a 10 min walk and the food will be here in about 20 mins. Wrong again. We get another phone call. She told us that the location had changed as well. "But it is only 5 minutes further away" Yes, if you are driving and if the whole city was not under construction. So our food arrives, we chunk it in the fridge, call and Uber and race to get to the new address we are provided in time only to not be able to find our tour guide. After several phone calls and back and fourths I finally get the tour guides number and find out that he is on the OTHER side of the construction zone. He said he would come to us since we didn't know how to get to him. Now. Chis was AMAZING. He was super knowledgeable and was a great guide. He was funny, interacted well with everyone, and took the time to answer question and didn't stick to a script, which made the actual tour quite enjoyable. Overall I was very happy with the tour and the tour guide was fantastic but the company itself left me quite upset. Our only option was to stick to what they thought was ok to substitute our trip with or to "get company credit and go on a different day" This was literally the only day we could do it. I wish I could give them I higher rating because the tour guide Chis was awesome. But the company themselves were not.

Terrible Customer Service - I didn’t actually get to go on this tour, but I’m writing this review due to the poor customer service I received. I came to San Antonio on a work trip, and booked a tour to do with my colleagues. About a week before our scheduled trip, I received a voicemail to say our tour was canceled with no explanation about why. When something is canceled due to no fault of mine, I expect a refund. I did not receive one the day after our tour was scheduled, so I emailed customer service and asked for a refund. Ashley emailed me back stating that I had “booked with a third party” (which I absolutely had not) and would need to seek a refund with them. No sorry I can’t help you, no sorry your tour was cancelled, nothing. My colleague sent the exact same email, and received a refund with no trouble. So I screenshotted my receipt and confirmation email, and sent it back to them stating I booked with them. I promptly received an email stating my refund was being processed, and another snotty email from Ashley that said I could expect my refund in 10-15 days. No apology about being wrong, or any kind of kind customer service language. For a company that advertises easy and no hassle refunds, they shouldn’t be lying about third party bookings and trying to take my money.

Nothing about history. Disjointed and random. - The guide was friendly and enthusiastic. So that’s a plus. The negative: no history of San Antonio at all. We’re tourists from out of town. We wanted to learn about the people and places we were seeing. Instead we got a story about when the guide rode in an elevator and marvel comics. We saw pictures on a cell phone and the guide said, “see there’s a ghost; but I don’t know anything about who or why they are there”. Uh, shouldn’t you have an idea? Or even make up something, I’d never know. There was never any order to what the guide was talking about; it was all stream of consciousness rambling. Very odd. I am sure the guide loves what he’s doing; but we didn’t get out of this experience what we expected; which was stories about the history of San Antonio. We took a walk in the cold and kept expecting information. We didn’t get any. We’ve done ghost tours in many other cities and never had an experience like this. It was very disappointing.

Save your money. Don't book this for - We didn't see any paranormal activity which makes me think this was a hoax. Guide was knowledgeable. Tour info said we would go to the Alamo Cathedral which was the only reason we booked this tour. That's was false advertising statement. According to the guide. "Rangers get mad at us". Dave your money.

Guide canceled 1 hour before tour. No refund. - Our tour was canceled by the guide service 1 hour before the tour. I can't obtain a refund, so we have scheduled again tonight. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
