The driver was waiting... - The driver was waiting for us outside of the cruise terminal with a sign. He spoke little English but was courteous. He even pointed out a few landmarks in Santiago, and warned us of the influx of migrants.

Great job...highly recommend - Luis was our driver and provided a great service. However, before we met him, we had a good experience with the company. I booked the service on the internet. The booking was easy and had straight forward questions. After booking I received a couple of updates that made me feel very comfortable. On the day of the pick-up, Luis texted me and sent me a picture of him holding a sign with my name on it! That was excellent. As I left the ship, I told him I would lose contact (I had no cellular service in Chile). He was waiting with the sign and greeted us. His van was more than I expected. It was new, clean and roomy. He securely stowed our luggage, helped us with our seat belts and offered us bottled water. While driving, we asked for music and he complied and he answered our questions. He helped with our luggage at the hotel and we said our goodbyes. Overall a great job

Top Class service - We had a wonderful journey from San Antonio to Santiago. The driver arrived on time, was smartly dressed and a good driver of the large Mercedes. He provided water for us and played some nice recognisable easy listening music. The vehicle was clean and very spacious. A very pleasant transfer from port to city.

Courteous and professional - Hugo was an awesome driver, very professional and helpful! He even showed me the highlights in the area where my hotel was located, thank you.

All went well. - I can only rate the exit through customs and the pick up by the driver. All went well. The driver drove carefully and took us to our hotel in Santiago.

Switching the destination - The driver was very good, coming to hotel at the scheduled time, switching from the wrong destination, San Antonio Port, to the correct one, the cruise port at Valparaiso. He got us there at the desired time. I felt that Viator highlighted trips to the San Antonio port and never mentioned the Valparaiso cruise terminal!!! For those of us unfamiliar with area, this could be disastrous, we were from going to WRONG port by an alert doorman at our hotel.

Short but sweet - Only there to board a cruise ship in January so didn’t get a spend a lot off time or see very much at all

Do not rely on this transportation - Due to very rough water this port was closed and we were unable to dock. We were diverted to the next port north of San Antino and notices were posted. Four emails and two phone calls to VIATOR went unanswered. So much for their 24 hour global assistance. Went we did arrive at port, transportation for everyone else had travelled north to collect them. Not VIATOR! We were left to figure out our own transportation to Santiago. We did eventually receive a refund, but that did not help us when we were stranded.
