Jorge & Daniela are fantastic guides -organized a wonderful trip! - We hired Daniela & Jorge to take us to Vina del Mar/Valparaiso on Christmas Day - what dedication and work ethic on their part! - they were fantastic, despite the fact that they had to work on a major holiday! As someone who has translated into another language for others, I was so impressed by Daniela's ability to translate and narrate during the entire full-day trip - believe me, it's incredibly exhausting! We learned so much about Chile, its history and its people that day! And we're so grateful for Jorge's driving! As well-seasoned world travelers, we feel Daniela & Jorge are a great guide team and we highly recommend them to others!

fantastic guide and tour - highly recommend - We are very discerning and seasoned world travelers, but were so impressed by the outstanding effort of our local guide and the driver throughout this trip, that we had to leave a glowing review for them. As someone who translated in the past, I know how hard it is to keep the commentary running for the ENTIRE DURATION OF THE TRIP. - It is obvious this work is their work of love and they are genuinely interested in conveying to visitors the story of their beloved country. Spots were carefully selected, we gained a great insight not just into Valparaiso, but the country as a whole. Had a very good meal while at Vina del Mar, overlooking the water. They went above and beyond and we are VERY, VERY GRATEFUL to them for a wonderful day.

Easy transfer from Santiago to Valparaiso - We flew into Santiago and had to transfer to our cruise ship in Valparaiso. We had 8 hours to kill, so we decided on a little side trip. Two guys picked us up the the airport. The driver spoke little English, but the guide spoke very well. They were super nice, recommended places we would not ever gone too. The car was nice and got us to the destination on time. Way to go..

A Hidden Gem - After searching through a myriad of Valparaiso tours from Santiago, Chile, we stumbled upon a real gem. The primary complaint in reviews of other tours to Valparaiso/ Vina Del Mar was the restaurant that was used for lunch. Our tour was private, and comparably priced to the other shared tours we saw on Viator. My husband and I were picked up at our hotel in Santiago by Daniela Fortes (guide) and Jorge Denzer (driver) who are partners in the company. Daniela was delightful, giving commentary throughout the 11/2 hour trip to Valparaiso. By the time we arrived, we felt as though we had known her for years. We walked the downtown area before taking the funicular to the top of the city. This is where most of the residents of Valparaiso live, with shops and restaurants. As we hiked the narrow, winding streets festooned with beautiful murals, Daniela provided commentary on many of them. She explained that they were painted by local artists and that they are constantly changing. Many were political statements, but others depicted the Chilean culture. As lunchtime neared, we had many choices, and decided to eat at a beautiful modern restaurant that had a set lunch menu (3 courses, $10.00). There was a sculpture of Don Quixote inside and the entire staff spoke English. The food was delicious. We continued on to the ocean resort city of Vina Del Mar & walked the bridge, but our favorite was the quaint Valparaiso! “Trip and Tour” exceeded our expectations.

Good tour - Paula, our tour guide, picked us up promptly at our hotel. She stayed right on schedule, and we covered all the destinations on the itinerary. Since this was a private tour, our time together became more of a conversation and question and answer, which worked fine for us, and when we arrived at a destination, she gave her prepared talk about the facts and history about the place. If I have to name something for improvement, I just wished she could've shown a little bit more enthusiasm and energy, though, when she gave her talks, but she's young and sweet, and we still liked her. The driver Jorge was a safe driver and skillfully maneuvered around traffic and tight spaces. Overall, the tour was fine and served our purpose in getting to San Antonio for our cruise and doing some sightseeing along the way, so we would recommend this tour.

scam company - Scam company. Flight delayed and the tour company wouldn't let me reschedule or refund. I was a solo traveler so this really affected my time and scramble to find available tour company during the pandemic and strict Chile regulations.

Tour Cancelled - Our tour was cancelled on us the night before our ship docked and our luggage had been picked up. Only 2 of us were booked. Had to scramble to get new luggage tags and obtain bus transportation to the airport, which is 2 hours away. We spent 10 hours at the airport waiting for our flight and missed seeing anything in Chile.
