• Ancient City (Mueang Boran) - The Ancient City, also known as Muang Boran, is an expansive open-air museum designed in the shape of Thailand’s map. Situated in Samut Prakan, just 30 kilometers from Bangkok, it offers a comprehensive display of Thailand’s history and culture.

Visitors can explore replicas of temples, palaces, and ancient ruins, most of which are constructed to one-third of their original size. Some structures are even original, having been meticulously relocated and reconstructed.

As you stroll through the park, you will traverse the great kingdoms of Thailand, including Lanna, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, and Rattanakosin.

Muang Boran was the brainchild of Khun Lek Viriyaphant, the visionary responsible for the Erawan Museum and the Sanctuary of Truth. His aim was to preserve Thailand’s rich heritage and present it in a single location.
