Top-notch street food tour - Incredible opportunity to safely try a wide variety of delicious street food as part of a fun and very well-organised tour. Annie our tour guide was the absolute best, engaging the entire group from the get-go and sharing lots of interesting info about the dishes and the people who make them. Bay (not sure of spelling) did a great job of staying one step ahead of the group and always having our next dish ready for us!

Unforgettable introduction to Thai cooking. - What a wonderful introduction to Thai food! From the walk through the market to pick up supplies, to the cooking and of course eating the fruits of our labour! Our teacher was wonderfully funny and we were part of a lovely group. The take home cookbook and chopsticks were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

Delicious Food Tour - Bew was our tour guide and did a great job explaining the history of the dishes. Although 4 hours of walking and eating might sound daunting, they really take into consideration the distance, order of tastings, including some palette cleansers between meals--we ended the tour near the original meeting spot with sweet dessert. The tour group was for 8 people and I had a great time chatting and hanging out with other tourists. My only recommendation is to bring a small battery powered fan and wear closed-toe shoes as you will be walking through wet alleyways. This is such a great way to try just some of the delicious cuisine Bangkok has to offer!

A Must Do Activity in Bangkok - Everything That I Had in Thailand (The China Town Food Walk by @achefstour edition) 1.Skewed Pork knuckle 2. Chicken skewers with peanut sauce 3. Noodle Soup 4. Shrimp Dumpling 5.Thai green curry 6. Thai noodle soup with pork belly 7. Soy Sauce Ice Cream 8. Mango Juice 9. Mango Sticky Rice Out of all the dishes I tried, I found the Pork knuckles to be the best, followed by the yummy Shrimp Dumplings. The most unique combination was the Ice Cream which is made with Soy Sauce and topped with Soy Sauce. Apparently it's only sold at one place in China Town Bangkok. Found this Food Tour to be better than the other one, primarily because this involves more walking, which makes sure the food gets digested faster, as we hop from one place to the next. A huge shout out to Phon and Phey from A Chef's Tour, for being the perfect hosts for an afternoon well spent.

Fast paced and full of fun! - This rollicking, fast-paced food tour was an exciting, colorful, delicious adventure! We tasted an incredible array of foods and drinks during the tour, and I just kept repeating that there was NO WAY on earth that my husband and I would have found these places on our own. We find Bangkok exciting but really intimidating, and we were able to taste so much fabulous food with the help of our amazing guide, Susie, and Mikey. It was well-paced, so much fun, and an experience we'd love to do again with A Chef's Tour in another city soon! Thanks for an incredible experience!

Incredible food and atmosphere - This is an awesome activity to do in Bangkok. Knowledgeable guides, amazing food stops that we would never have found otherwise, and a very atmospheric experience walking through the bustling streets of Chinatown. There’s a fair bit of ‘Chinese’ influenced food in the mix as opposed to what a westerner would consider classic ‘Thai’ food, but the best part is actually seeing how the two cuisines are being combined in this area and tasting the crossover. Delicious. Come hungry.

Bangkok Backstreet Food Tour with Annie is A Flavorful Gem! - In bustling Bangkok, Annie, our food guide, is a true gem. Here are some highlights: 1. Hidden Treasures: Annie led us through Chinatown’s back alleys, revealing tucked-away food spots. Michelin rated back-alley dim sum, sizzling skewers (that would be tough to find by yourself)—each bite was a revelation. 2. Ingredient Stories: Annie’s passion isn’t just for food; it’s for stories. She shared tales of exotic ingredients and prep techniques turning our taste buds into eager listeners. 3. Unexpected Delights: whoever thought you could pair unripe mangoes with a fish sauce, or ice cream with soy sauce. And we loved them! 4. Foodie Bonding: The icing on the cake? The camaraderie among fellow food explorers. Laughter, sticky fingers, and newfound friendships—it was the most delicious part of the journey. If you are thinking of this tour -- this is probably one the the best use of 4 hours in Bangkok.
