Seoul ✈ - Jejudo Island, Korea’s Gem
Yongduam Rock - Next, we will fly to Jeju Island, often referred to as the “Island of Gods.” This volcanic island is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, unique cultural traditions, and mild climate. Since 2007, the Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes have been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in South Korea. We will visit Yongduam, also known as Dragon’s Head Rock.
Jejudo Island
Sangumburi Crater - This crater, designated as a Natural Monument, is a flat crater approximately 650 meters wide, 100 meters deep, and 2,070 meters in circumference. Viewed from above, it resembles a man-made circular stadium and is home to a diverse range of plant life.
Ilchul Land - A beautiful theme park featuring a flower garden, including a Bonsai Garden and Micheon Lava Cave.
Seongsan Ilchulbong - Also known as ‘Sunrise Peak,’ this archetypal tuff cone was formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions on a shallow seabed around five thousand years ago. This volcanic crater offers breathtaking views, including one of Korea’s most spectacular sunrises. Enjoy the Women Diver Show, featuring female divers who gather shellfish and seaweed without any underwater diving equipment.
Jeju Folklore & Natural Museum - The Natural History Exhibition Hall showcases natural historical items such as marine life, soil and rocks, and Jeju’s flora and fauna in a three-dimensional manner. It provides visitors with a deeper understanding of Jeju’s unique nature and culture. The museum is divided into an Ecology Hall of Marine Life, a Soil and Rock Exhibition Hall, and a Land Ecosystem Hall.
Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road) - Also known as Dokkaebi Road, this road is truly mysterious. Here, the road appears to be uphill, but when the car engine is turned off, the car begins to roll uphill!
Jejudo Island ✈ - Busan, Hub of Asia
Yongdusan Park - Named Yongdusan because the mountain resembles a dragon’s head emerging from the sea.
Busan Tower - A 120-meter tower offering a stunning bird’s-eye view of Busan, including islands and ships scattered across the distant seas.
Jagalchi Market - The largest fish market in Korea and a popular tourist destination in Busan. Located beside Nampo Port, the market ensures fish are kept fresh and delivered quickly.
APEC Naru Park - The name Nurimaru APEC House combines the Korean words Nuri (“world”) and maru (“summit”), along with “APEC House,” referring to an APEC conference hall. Together, it signifies “a house where world summits gather for an APEC meeting.”
Haeundae Beach - The most famous beach in Busan, Haeundae Beach features a white sand beach approximately 1.5 km long and 30-50 m wide, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, ideal for swimming.
Busan - Gyeongju, The Historical City, Museum Without Walls, World Heritages Designated by UNESCO
Yangdong Folk Village - Korea’s largest traditional village, showcasing the traditional culture of the Joseon Dynasty and its beautiful natural surroundings. With numerous cultural heritages, including treasures, national treasures, and folklore materials, the entire village is designated as a cultural heritage site. Many visitors, including Charles, Prince of Wales in 1993, have come to see its rich cultural heritage and scenic surroundings.
Bulguksa Temple - Also known as “The Buddhist Country Temple.”
Seokguram - Located on Tohamsan Mountain, Seokguram is Korea’s representative stone temple. Officially named Seokguram Seokgul, it is National Treasure No. 24 and was designated a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. This artificial stone temple is made of granite.
Daereungwon Tomb Complex - Within this complex is Cheonmachong Tomb (Ancient Tomb No. 155), excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb features a wooden coffin inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, typical of upper-class tombs from the Silla period. The mound is 12.7 m high with a 50 m diameter, consisting of a layer of rocks collected from streams. Beneath the rock layer is a wooden chamber 6.5 m long, 2.1 m wide, and 2.1 m high, with the wooden coffin at its center. A total of 11,526 artifacts were discovered, including Cheonmado, Korea’s first artwork excavated from an ancient tomb.
Gyeongju - Jeonju, The Landmark of Korean Culture
Jeonju - A significant tourist center renowned for its Korean cuisine and historic traditional buildings. In May 2012, Jeonju was designated a Creative City for Gastronomy as part of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network. This recognition highlights the city’s traditional home cooking passed down through generations, its active food research, its system for nurturing talented chefs, and its distinctive local food festivals.
Hanji Museum - Korea’s first museum specializing in paper, the Jeonju Hanji Museum boasts an extensive collection of 3,000 artifacts and a database documenting the long history and superiority of hanji (traditional Korean paper). The museum hosts two special exhibitions annually with diverse paper-related themes.
Jeonju Hanok Village - The largest Korean village with various traditional cultural facilities in the downtown area.
Gyeonggijeon Shrine - A symbol of Jeonju’s Korean-style village, Gyeonggijeon is especially beautiful in autumn. Historical dramas and movies often use the surrounding landscape as a backdrop.
Jeonju to Tapsa Temple
Tapsa Temple - Renowned for over 80 stone pagodas built by Lee Gapyong, a retired scholar. These stone pagodas vary in size and shape, from cone-shaped to straight-shaped. Behind Daeungjeon, the Cheonjitap tower stands as the largest tower, three times the height of an average adult. The construction method of this tall tower remains unclear, drawing much interest.
Jeonju - Suwon - Seoul
Hwaseong Fortress - A masterpiece of Korean traditional architecture, designated as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Haenggung, meaning detached palace, is a palace within Hwaseong’s walls built to accommodate King Jeongjo when he visited his father’s tomb in Seoul. When not in use by the king, it served as a government base for his officials. Originally built in 1789, it was expanded between 1794 and 1796 to include 600 compartments, becoming Korea’s largest haenggung.
Namdaemun Market - Korea’s largest and oldest wholesale market, where bargaining is common, making goods more affordable.

DMZ - The highlight of today’s tour is the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).

Located along the 38th parallel, this infamous border was established at the end of the war in 1953 with the signing of the Panmunjom armistice to separate North and South Korea. Upon arrival, proceed to passport security control followed by a brief introduction at the United Nations’ camp. Visit Dora Observatory and Dorasan railway station. Explore Imjingak Park with the Memorial, the Liberty Bridge, and the Bell of Unification. Later in the morning, visit the 3rd tunnel, dug into the rock at a depth of 73m, capable of moving a full division per hour with their weapons.
Insadong - An antique cultural street, one of Seoul’s most memorable attractions. It represents the heart of Korean traditional culture and crafts. Stores in Insadong offer a wide variety of goods unique to Korea.

Gyeongbokgung Palace - We will start the day early at the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace to witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, which is over 500 years old.
Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is often called the Northern Palace due to its location furthest north compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all five palaces.
Bukchon Hanok Village - Experience history with a walk around Bukchon Hanok Village, featuring several traditional homes, or Hanok. Many of these hanoks function as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants, and tea houses, offering visitors a chance to experience, learn, and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. As Bukchon Hanok Village is a residential area, visitors are advised to be respectful while exploring.
Dongdaemun Market - Conclude the day with leisure time at Dongdaemun open market, the largest open market in the Orient. Dongdaemun Market is a vast commercial district with traditional markets, numerous international restaurants, and a variety of street foods.
