Well planned, guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Vehicle was good. They assigned a person to help board trains. - Well planned tour, guide was knowledgeable, friendly and fluent in English. Vehicle was good. They assigned a person to help identify coach, seat and board trains on both legs of to tour i.e. Tashkent-Samarkand-Tashkent. It was a high speed train took about 2:30 hours. Though economy class tickets were booked but train was clean and comfortable. They took extra efforts and also managed vegetarian meals for me.

Pleasant day - This tour is a really nice easy way to see everything. Our guide was informative and very patient. My friend loves to take a lot of pictures. Samarkand is a nice city. If we had known, we would have spent the night instead of just taking a day tour.

Such a great 1 day trip we had! - Samarkand is beautiful! This one day tour was all inclusive. We were taken by taxi from our Hotel in Tashkent and broght back in the evening. There were some difficulties, but the agency took care of them all. A very professional guide met us at the Samarkand railway station. A driver took us from one place to another. The guide Hakim showed us the best places, took us to a local restorant and market, he also took a lot of pictures and videos of us. We felt safe and happy with him.

well organized by the... - well organized by the supporter, friendly random group mates, 2 well-educated tour guides. Eeverything was memorable and fantastic except the extremely hot weather (35ºC in Samarkand in late April).

Great guide. Not so good logistics. - A great guide in Samarkand. Pick up to high speed train no problems. Unfortunately, this tour company must wait until last minute to book return train tickets, so my husband and I were seated in different sections of the train. Also, when we returned to Tashkent, there was no one holding sign for Go Uzbekistan like they said for our return to our hotel. Another member of our tour group just happened to recognize her morning driver. For these reasons, I am giving 3 stars.

Don’t do it - If you don’t want to be stranded and then miss two first class trains and end up on a four hour train back to Tashkent then don’t take this tour. Total shambles … The only good thing about it was the driver at the beginning and end of tour. This company is a disgrace
