Spectacular Manaslu Circuit Trek - What a spectacular trip!! Where to even begin?! I do not often leave reviews but I feel absolutely obliged to here as a long awaited dream to visit the Himalayas was simply magical. Firstly, a huge thank you to Rajesh (owner) who’s communication, organisation and planning of all the fine details of our 12 day Manaslu Trek was superb. From the first contact via WhatsApp, the welcome briefing on arrival in Nepal to organising our groups private jeep return to Kathmandu; he was constantly on hand with first class customer service. Our time on the circuit was sensational (trek departed on 8th November) and we were blessed with fantastic weather throughout, breathtaking views and we were able to soak up the Himalayas, its people and culture from our expert guide Ram who instantly became part of the team. His organisation and knowledge of Nepal and Manaslu was excellent and he guided us though each day from breakfast orders, lunch, more lemon & ginger tea and gave everyone the platform to walk at their own pace and admire the views. He also shred his breadth of knowledge of the areas we passed through and he constantly answered questions from our group of 6, + Ram and our 3 porters. Onto the porters and again, they became friends and a crucial part of our small team. They looked after us incredibly well and we could only admire their support, service, & strength. Without the porters, these trips become either exceptionally challenging or simply not possible so we were very grateful for their support. If you want to be slightly more off the beaten path, go for it. The facilities pleasantly surprised me and there was always a hot shower bar at 4400m which is the night before the pass. Lots of hidden gems and surprises on the route which I will not disclose. Interesting to seeing the start of the Annapurna routes on the jeep back to Kathmandu too - give me a beautiful green rainforest and a huge river gorge as a starting point any day. In summary, I would not hesitate in booking with Rajesh and the team again; and made it clear to them that I will return, possibly to head out east or to do the Everest 3 Passes Trek. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish and they cover all the fine details. It really was a trip of a lifetime. What’s included is very clear and we were well fed, watered and provided with fresh fruit after dinner too. Note not all companies include food & drink and it does add up the higher you go. Finally, I thought our itinerary was spot on and we all made it over the pass in good time, feeling strong and this was down to our acclimatisation which allowed more time than other groups, some of whom struggled due to less acclimatisation. I could go on and on but I will sign off and say the trip will take some beating (and o have been fortunate enough to travel elsewhere).

The best team of guides in Nepal! - We did the Manaslu circuit with Nepal Trekking Experts and they could not have done a better job. We were a group of 14 so there was lots to organise, vehicles, hotel rooms, equipment and a big guiding team. We were firing questions at Rajesh from every angle leading up to our trip and he was always there with a quick response and the solution to any problems that we had. He did a great briefing before the trek and gave us a friendly welcome to Nepal when we arrived in Kathmandu. We had the ultimate team of guides and porters on the trek. Our head guide Basanta showed his experience by giving us detailed information each night, he monitored the weather forecast carefully and made sure that everyone was acclimatising safely, he would even go and help the chefs cook at lunch time so we could get back on the trail quickly in the afternoon! Most importantly though he made a difficult job look easy and that helped everyone to relax and enjoy every day on the trail. Everyone on our guiding team brought positive vibes, smiles and laughs whilst working from morning till night serving us breakfast, lunch, dinner, teas, coffees, snacks and snickers, making sure that we had everything we needed. We were looked after so well. These are honest and trustworthy people that really are experts at what they do. It was one of the best trekking experiences of my life and that was thanks to the Rajesh, Basanta, Gautam, Gakul, our amazing porters and the incredible team at Nepal Trekking Experts.

Can’t wait to come back - So grateful for my experience with Raj and his team at NTE. From the start, Raj was available, friendly and detailed in our communication and it took me no time to book through him. Arrival in Nepal was easy, the hotel great, all questions and queries answered, and that was before headed to the mountain. I joined a mixed group tour. The Manaslu circuit trek. Our guide Ram was a ray of sunshine on the hardest days. Full of knowledge and positivity he really was great, a dream guide! Our whole team felt lucky. Solo around Manaslu and Tsum Valley with Santosh and Nepal Trekking Experts. - A big thank you to Nepal Trekking Experts and guide/porter Santosh for making my first Himalayan trek a wonderful experience! I did the Around Manaslu trek and included the Tsum Valley for a 21 day trek through some of the most gorgeous mountain areas I have ever seen. Nepal Trekking Experts organized the whole trek from Kathmandu, and without a hitch! Santosh most definitely contributed in a big way to the whole experience, as guide/porter, as trekking buddy, as an informative cultural guide, and a very safe and knowledgeable friend during at times challenging weather conditions. He has an astonishing amount of experience in the area and seems to know everyone we met locally on a personal basis! It was clear to me that he was a highly respected guide everywhere we went, he knew each tea house host personally, booked the best accomodation, knew where to find the best meal in town, and was absolutely cheerful and comfortable to be with throughout. As I was hiking solo we did get to know eachother quite well and getting to know him was a very positive experience and added greatly to my impression of Nepal! I would certainly recommend him, and would happily take him as my guide on my next trek! Nepal Trekking Experst were also very helpful and reliable all through the trek, regularly communicating with Santosh by phone through out and making sure all was well, especially during a period of unseasonal rain and accompanying danger of landslides, very reassuring! Manaslu circuit - I went as a large group for Manaslu circuit and it was really great, I felt super well supported the whole time and it was so nice not having to worry about any logistics during the hike. Leading up to it, Rajesh was super responsive with all of our (sometimes silly) questions so it made us feel way more prepared and confident heading to Nepal. Our tour guides Basanta and Dinesh were absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better. They were super professional and friendly, motivated us through hard parts of the trek and were very adaptive to our problems (ie getting sick, injuries) - it was great to have them not only as tour guides but as friendly faces throughout the whole time. Would highly recommend!!

Best trekking ever - It was the trekking of a lifetime! We will never forget this one! We choose Manaslu really carefully and also Nepal Trekking Experts. And we had the best team ever! Resham, our guide, was the best guide we ever had! He lives in the area, has so much experience as a guide and is really caring. Because of snow and ice on the trek, it was so nice to follow his foodsteps. That really felt save! He showed us so much of the beautiful culture,nature and watched everything with such care Food, sleeping, how we are doing with altitude..Without our porter Ramesh we probably would not have made it up. He was such a nice, strong, stabel part of our team. And good with games after dinner. It made our trip so much more enjoyable! Strongly recommend them both!!! The trek is really well thouht off: with extra opportunities to see the monasteries, blue lakes while you get used to the hight. The days are not too long and not too short. And everyday you see so much interesting and beautifull things. The local culture and nature far away from everything are so so special!!

Doma Sherpa is a fantastic trekking companion! - I had the pleasure of spending three weeks trekking with my wonderful mountain guide, Doma, and her sister Phulu as a porter – on the Manaslu Circuit and in the Tsum Valley – and it was a truly amazing experience. As an experienced mountain guide, she knows every corner, every pass, every village – and shares her knowledge with enthusiasm, patience, and heartfelt dedication. She not only ensured my safety and proper acclimatization but also opened doors to people and moments I would never have experienced without her. Her humor, strength, and deep connection to the mountains are truly inspiring. Whether crossing dizzying suspension bridges, navigating dangerous landslides, or on the long ascent to Larke Pass – she was always present, attentive, and full of positive energy. A huge thank you also goes to her sister Phulu, who, as a porter, delighted me every single day with her cheerfulness and incredible willingness to help.
