As a renowned vantage point, Poon Hill offers breathtaking views of the grand Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range, coupled with awe-inspiring sunrises and sunsets. The journey then takes us to our final destination, Annapurna Base Camp at 4130m, positioned amidst a panoramic 360-degree view of the Himalayan peaks. Post this unique experience, we descend to the Jhinu Danda hot spring, adding an extra touch of luxury to the trip. The best trekking experience! - My partner and I signed up for a 10 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp with Nepal Trekking Experts and the service was absolutely immaculate from start to finish!
We visited the office in person in Kathmandu to arrange our trek and were immediately greeted warmly, offered coffee and tea, and sat down for an in depth conversation about which trek would suit us best within our budget. Rajesh was incredibly knowledgeable and covered everything from transport to Pokhara, luggage storage, the trek itinerary, accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), right down to the bus we’d take back to Kathmandu. Nothing was overlooked.
On the trek itself, our guide Thakur was THE BEST. He was so knowledgeable about the mountains and happily answered all of our questions with a constant smile. He was never pushy, especially when we struggled at certain points, and he was such a calming and kind presence …particularly during the harder moments for me personally (dodgy knees!). We genuinely had the best 10 days of our lives, and that’s not an exaggeration.
We loved everything…the views, the accommodation, and the social side of trekking such as playing cards in the quieter evenings with Thakur. When the trek ended, we were honestly so sad to say goodbye to him.
After the trek, we were invited back to the Nepal Trekking Experts office in Kathmandu, where we were offered a drink (we chose a celebratory beer 🍻) and had a lovely debrief chat with Rajesh and Thakur. This was such a thoughtful touch, it didn’t feel like a sudden goodbye, but a proper and meaningful one.
I would 100% recommend Nepal Trekking Experts to anyone planning a trek in Nepal. Their professionalism, knowledg and genuinely kind hearted nature truly make them the best in the business. We cannot thank you enough

The company name says it all - If you want to go trekking in Nepal just read the name of the company. These guys are top tier. I had a loose idea of the trek I wanted to do but no solid idea of the logistics etc. We entered the office and explained to Rajesh that we wanted to do the ABC trek. He was fantastic and explained everything in detail mentioning exactly what was included and not included in the price package as well as the route. The price was perfect and we signed up then and there. The day before the trek we met our guide Thakur and went through the plan for the trek including the transfer to Pokhara. From start to finish the trek went flawlessly and Thakur was absolutely amazing to us, making sure we were doing okay every step of the way. Thank you so much Nepal Trekking Experts, we hope to see you again soon!

Unforgettable experience - I want to testify to the quality of service of this agency following our two treks (Annapurna and Manaslu). The person in charge, Rajesh, is very professional. We were also accompanied by a great team: our guide Ram, whose skills are remarkable, as well as Dan, Nabin, Tej and Ramesh at the portage. An exemplary organization for a memorable trip.

Annapurna gave us the Trip of a Lifetime! - I can summarize my experience simply as “The trip of a lifetime!”
The trek was led by Binod brilliantly assisted by our two porters-Chong and Mahesh.
To experience the Annapurna mountains can only be appreciated by being there. Rajesh’s Trekking company made it all happen so that we could just marvel at the scenes around us. Professionally organised with flexibility accommodated if we wanted it.
Do this trek now-don’t put it off.
And be ready to get hooked on Dal Bhat Veg and crack a smile at “Nepali flat”

Would 100% recommend poonhill + ABC with Arjun - ABC trekking with Nepal trekking experts was one of the best experiences of our lives. My boyfriend and I enjoyed 8-days of ABC + poonhill. In Kathmandu, we met Rajesh in the office, to prepare us for the trekking and to make sure we have the right equipment. Rajesh is super nice, professional and amicable. The night before our trekking, we met our guide Arjun, to go over the last details. We immediately felt at ease. Arjun guided us with a positive vibe, learned us a lot about nature and culture, chose the best restaurants and teahouses and took great care of us. We laughed so much, and still he was very professional, taking care of our wishes and physical condition. We sure want to go back for another trekking with the same company and with Arjun!

Leave it to the experts - My husband and I had never been hiking or to Nepal before, so we really had to trust Nepal Trekking Experts for everything regarding this trip. Every part of our trek was perfectly organized from start to finish. The group’s coordinator, Raj, provided us with a detailed itinerary along with a list of necessities. If someone had a question, he always replied promptly and courteously. No detail was forgotten, from our airport pickup when we arrived to airport drop off as we departed.
The entire staff during our trek, from the porters to the guides, were very professional. Every place they set up for us to stay for the night was clean and safe. We never had to worry about anything.
Our lead guide, Arjun, was always attentive to our needs & was extremely knowledgable from questions we had along the way to providing us with local information as we hiked along. He was fantastic! I can’t say enough great things about him. We felt like family by the end of our adventure.
If we ever make it to Nepal again, we 100% would definitely use Nepal Trekking Experts for our trip.

Eight days on ABC trek - This was an amazing trip, and I would recommend Nepal TrekkingExperts to anyone who wants to have a beautiful well organized trek with guides who sincerely care about you. Raj runs the office, got us hotel rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara, made sure we were greeted and picked up at the airport. Arjun was our head guide, was patient, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Good price too! Definitely use them if you’re going on any trek in Nepal

You’re not too old! - A group of 6 with average age of 69years planned and walked ABC via Poon Hill over 11 days. We had a brilliant guide- Arjun, and 3 terrific porters- Ram, Gale and Ganesh who made for a fun and easy and enjoyable trek. We loved everything- the views, the countryside, the teahouses, we were lucky with the weather, and we had incredible views of the mountains. We couldn’t have been happier.

ABC Poon Hill trek - Second time I've used NTE, both times excellent faultless service .
Just finished the Annapurna Base Camp Poon Hill trek. Our guide Arjun was exceptional and helpful right from the KTM airport till we got back to Pokhara. Our 3 porters Gale, Ram and Ganesh never stopped making our day with their enthusiastic and ever smiling faces.
The trek was fabulous and the views to die for.
I wouldn't use anyone else!

Amazing Annapurna base camp trek experience - My friend and I went with Nepal trekking experts on the Annapurna base camp trek. Being new both to Nepal and multi-day trekking, we decided to book both a guide (Prakash) and porter (Thakur) with them. This was the best decision! Prakash was super friendly, meeting us at the airport, guiding us both to the hotel and headquarters before the trek even began.
On the drive to Pokhara due to a landslide the drive was much longer than expected, but both he and Thakur went out of their way to get us some snacks!
On the trek itself, Prakash answered all our various questions about both the land, people and culture with depth and detail. Thakur was so cheerful and lovely company as well! He was eager to both learn and share stories which made the trip that much more enjoyable.
The trip itself was clearly well planned by a company with an extensive understanding of the area, but also had flexibility to allow for weather (rain) as well as our walking pace. We never felt rushed during the hikes, and we always had a place to stay and amazing food at the end of each day.
Rajesh, one of the amazing people behind the operation went above and beyond to help us. He accommodated our longer stay in Pokhara before returning to Kathmandu, booking our bus for us! He even suggested further areas of interest in Kathmandu, and helped with a booking private car.
Not to mention, his brother took us for a dinner first night in Kathmandu, all on them! It was a lovely experience.
Our time of Nepal will not only be defined by the cities, temples or Annapurna, but also of the amazing people and experiences that we encountered along the way, which is due undoubtedly in large part to Nepal trekking experts! Thank you again, hopefully we will be back!
