Must see experince - What an amazing experience. Our Captain took us up the river piloting the boat and giving a running commentary about the city and surrounding area. She was brilliant. The boat is modern with good viewing. tickets can be purchased on the quay side. Every thing about this experience was professional, affordable and efficient. Thank you

It was worth the money!! - Very beautiful experience!! We loved it !! You can see the great view, the houses, the castle on the top of the mountain, it is not cold at all and it lasts about 40-45 Minutes:)) it was wonderful!!

Fun on the Salzach - It was interesting to see the city from the river and learn a little about the buildings along the river. The "waltzing" boat at the end was an unexpected bit of fun. I would go on this boat ride again and again.

Enjoy the relaxation - A thoroughly enjoyable 45-minute cruise along the river. The commentary was a mix of pre-recorded (in German and English) and commentary from the lady captain (started in German and English, added Spanish after a question from a member of the audience), and was a nice mix of history, humour and facts.
Good views of villas on one side, and the commercial side of the city on the other.
Fast running water created challenges for the pilot, with the outward section around 35 minutes, then 10 minutes back with the tide!
Basic tickets are available for unreserved seating, with a handful of "premium" seats at the front and back (with a "free" drink included) - all have a good view because of the design of the vessel, built for this type of journey.

Enjoyable but not a lot to see. - We booked this as the only way we could see to get onto the river. The truth is that you really don't see anything that you cans't see from the shore, so there are no real surprises. To be fair, the river level was dropping at the time of our cruise, so our time on the river had to be shortened. Obviously not the tour company's fault.

Not to be missed - The captain spun the boat to music pretending that children spinning a fake wheel were in control. Ride was informative and enjoyable.

Nice experience in Salzburg - Unfortunately due to the low level of the river, our river cruise was shorter and only travelled a short distance along the river. The cruise company were very accommodating and refunded us part of the cost.

terrible experience - it poured rain, and my daughter was frightened of the river, and it was windy and shaky. We did not board the boat because of the treacherous conditions, and requested a refund which we were denied..
