Experience gastronomical and musical joys over the city skyline! Take pleasure in a romantic meal at the Panorama Restaurant situated in the globally renowned Salzburg Fortress, leading into a Best of Mozart Concert, all with the incredible sight of the city and its landscapes.
The dinner in the Panorama fortress restaurant offers individual tables! Tables will be arranged based on the booking size, with the exception of 23rd to 25th December.
In good weather and suitable atmospheric conditions, the VIP dinner will be set on the panorama terrace.
Inside the internationally recognized fortress, hovering above Mozart’s city, where the archbishop once hosted his special guests, you will have the chance to witness a supreme classical concert.
Listen to some of Mozart’s most loved compositions, such as “A little Nightmusic”, alongside the work of other renowned music masters, performed by internationally acclaimed artists.
During Advent and Christmas period, you will also be serenaded with traditional Salzburg Advent and Christmas music.

The fortress is located in the Old City (pedestrian area). Go to the railway station (Festungsgasse 4). Present your voucher there to get a free ride from 30 min. before dinner start. By car use the car park at Hildmannplatz 1, Entry (Einfahrt) B. Follow the sign Festung/Dom. Walking time 10 min.

Mozart dinner and concert - The dinner was very good but we really enjoyed the concert. The sun was setting and the view from the top of the fortress was amazing!

Excellent experience - Dinner was excellent! The crew from the fortress was spectacular and we got to watch a thunderstorm roll in. The concert was fantastic! Great venue, beautiful music! We loved it. Highly recommend!

Excellent - Very good experience - good food , fine dining , ride up the funicular was good . The fortress visit was excellent . Good service and fantastic Mozart concert at the historic hall on top of the fortress .

Great meal and performance. Excellent service - We had a wonderful view of Salzburg from the window of the restaurant. Our waiter was professional and personable. He was kind and very helpful. Our meal was served hot and tasted very good. The concert we very enjoyable. The room is as packed and yet it felt very intimate. The musicians were outstanding and played many lovely pieces. We highly recommend this event. It was a great experience.

Best of the best - Of all the Salzburg experiences, this was by far the most memorable and elegant. The VIP meal was extraordinary and the concert was beyond amazing. We could not recommend this any more than to say it was magical. The fortress was a huge part of the experience.

Wonderful - The concert and food was delicious, the manager/owner of the restaurant was very helpfull. We got lost and it was raining. The manager met us and offered us a ride with his personal car to our hotel. Unforgettable and beautiful experience.

A magical evening - Beautiful music and setting. Will be a special memory. The music chosen was perfect for the venue and we all enjoyed the meal too and the staff were very attentive. The views at dusk over the city are lovely.

Lovely last evening - We opted for the standard dinner with allocated seats in the concert hall. Took awhile to check you in but once at the table service was prompt and efficient. Although the drinks menu doesn't mention it you can get glasses of wine and also half bottles. We each had a prosecco and a 0.5l of wine = €30. The Vip folk got what looked like beef tenderloin and then the local specialty dessert Nokerel. Our pud was a choc mouse with berries. I thought the pace of the food / service was right. Meal finished by 8 pm and concert started at 8.30. They played for 40 mins had a 20 min break and then played for another 30 mins. Although I'm not a huge classical music fan I enjoyed it and the music wasn't too "heavy".
