Upon reaching the top via the funicular, the Panorama Restaurant is immediately to the right upon exiting. Here, you can indulge in a meal while taking in the breathtaking vistas of Salzburg and its environs.

Assorted mini bread rolls with a duo of spreads Creamy white wine soup garnished with toasted Marcona almonds
Locally sourced beef short ribs prepared sous vide, accompanied by truffle-infused pea puree and a side of char-grilled ‘tomato de Roma’
OR Traditional ‘Müllerin Art’ Salzburger gold trout served with aromatic rosemary potatoes

Listen to some of Mozart’s celebrated compositions like ‘A little Nightmusic’, along with pieces from other illustrious music maestros, presented by globally acclaimed artists.
During the holiday season of Advent and Christmas, the venue also echoes with traditional Salzburg holiday music.
Private dining tables at the Panorama fortress restaurant! Your seating arrangement will be based on the booking size, except 23.-25.12.
When the weather is pleasing and conducive, the VIP dinner will be hosted on the panorama terrace.

Lovely Experience - The dinner and the view are amazing. Definitely, do the VIP dinner. It waa worth it. The music was lovely as well. It was the highlight of my trip in. Salzburg.

A true Salzburg experience! - This is a wonderful experience to have in Salzburg! We really enjoyed the whole plan, the meal was delicious, the concert was lovely and in a special area of the castle. If you plan to arrive a little ahead, there is a good chance you see the sunset from the fortress, quite special!

Special Mozart performance in Salzburg - The dinner location & our table and fortress views were very impressive, however the food was a little less special than expected. The quartet performance was amazing and our VIP seating was sensational. Really enjoyed the experience.

Mozart Concert Hohensalzburg Gold Class - It was absolutely fabulous. We were a little unlucky as a big storm rolled in and we could not sit outside but other than that we enjoyed the food, the wine and the concert. Would recommend the VIP Gold Tour to anyone who wants to attend this. Although it sounds expensive it isn’t really considering it includes a three course meal, a bottle of wine ( red or white), the concert ticket, the complimentary glass of Prosecco at half time and the funicular railway up to and back from the fortress. Worth every dollar as far as I am concerned. Amazing artists and great time had by all.

Great Salzburg Experience - We loved everything! The Fortress is beautiful. We were able to have dinner on the terrace which gave you a beautiful view of Salzburg. The dinner was great and the staff was excellent. The musicians were excellent and overall it was a very enjoyable experience!

A good evening - There was no problem taking the funicular. The welcome at the restaurant was pleasant. We were seated inside due to the weather. The meal was very good as were the drinks included in the package (aperitif, wine and water). On the other hand, although everything was included, the waiter came to ask us for a tip at the end of the meal. The concert was good but we didn't understand why we were in the 3rd row when there were free seats in the 1st and 2nd.

Dinner was terrible. The concert was very enjoyable. - If you’re looking at this, skip the dinner. Super slow, didn’t give us a terrace/window seat, our arrival drink, or the wine that was to be included with the VIP Golden. The meal itself was mostly forgettable, and the only thing we all agreed was good was the desert. The service was so slow we had to leave in order to get to the concert on time. If I were to do this over, I’d eat dinner elsewhere and just enjoy a drink on the terrace before the dinner and save the money and stress.
I am giving this three stars because the concert itself was fantastic. Beautiful setting with excellent performers. You can book the concert as a stand alone directly through the fortress, so that would be my recommendation to other travelers.
