Simply amazing - Highly recommend this tour. The scenery en route to The Eagles Nest and the villages we stopped in were stunning. Our tour guide was gone though by the time we got out of the lift to The Eagles Nest, so we had no commentary on what was what. We weren't hungry so didn't go into the restaraunt, not realising that this was where the famous fire place was housed, so we missed that. Our tour guide should probably have told us that on the way there on the bus. Still, it was a fantastic tour and I would highly recommend it. The scenery is simply breathtaking.

A great day with Peter at the Eagles Nest! - Peter had a tough day keeping us all together because the mountain buses changed the schedule but the day went perfectly and Peter is very good!

Slightly Disappointed but still glad we did it - Trip is a bit rushed but I still think it's better than doing it yourself. Our guide would speak in german even though he had asked where everyone was from and out of 50 only 2 said they were from the area. He was also insisting that we stay in the same seats (completely understandable) but there is very little to tell you what seat row etc you are in. If it is that important, they need to make it more obvious and or clearly explain in the instructions. One lady was very upset by this as they made us ask her to move. So many little things could make it better. You are moved around a bit like cattle and shoved tightly in the elevator. I would never recommend this for someone with claustrophobia. The guide could offer so much more info. (Again just my opinion) Driver was excellent!! Highly recommend the quick visit to Berchtesgaden, that was an absolute treat and we got our food at hotel edelweiss and it was delicious 😋

Would not recommend this tour company - We waited 10 minutes to start the tour because 2 people were late. Then my group was put in Bus 4 ( of 4). So … all this ‘waiting around’ cut into time to enjoy Eagle’s Nest. Also, upon arrival at meeting point, was told tour would end at 3:30 pm (not original 1:30 pm), thus cutting into time I wanted to spend seeing Salzburg. Very poorly organized. Would not recommend.

Don’t waste your money - We unfortunately got a very cloudy day which is no one’s fault but we found that this panorama tour was terrible. We only got 30 minutes at the house. Barely any historical facts or information was given. Yosef was more concerned with telling people what time to get on the bus. We got less than an hour at Berchtesgaden which is not even slightly enough time to look around nor eat. The entire morning was extremely rushed and actually quite boring. Wouldn’t recommend this tour and felt it was a complete waste of money and could have done it better ourselves. Spend the money on a different tour group or a smaller group tour they’re much better.

Extremely Rushed Tour - Felt extremely rushed on the Eagle’s Nest! We were only given less than an hour once we were actually on the Eagle’s Nest. Then this tour company took us to a village to have lunch, we were also given an hour there. They could have let us stay on the Eagle’s Nest for the extra hour instead of taking us to this village, but I bet Panorama Tours would not get paid any commissions if they let us have lunch on the Eagle’s Nest. If you want to visit the Eagle’s Nest and spend more time to have a better experience, go by yourself instead of using Salzburg Panorama Tours. The company lists the travel duration as 4.5 hours. Please note that the round trip including waiting for a separate bus to drive up to the Eagle’s Nest takes about 2.5 hours, then you will have 1 hour actually on the Eagle’s Nest and 1 hour in the village.

Eagle’s Nest/Berchtesgaden Tour - The guides, drivers and staff were very professional and friendly. However, the time spent actually at The Eagle’s Nest and, later, in Berchtesgaden was minimal. I would have greatly preferred more time on top to learn and reflect. My group had 45 minutes on the mountain top and 45 minutes total in Berchtesgaden. In short, this was a bucket list trip for me that was far too rushed.

Skip-The-Tour - Very rushed, spent minimal time on the mountain with more time spent for lunch in Berchtesgaden. The guide wasn’t overly knowledgeable & not sure what line we skipped. Definitely not value for money and wish we chose a different company or did it ourselves
