Excellent Folkloric Cultural Show Salvador, Bahia! - The restaurant was right I the middle of the very colorful and beautiful, historical area, Pelourinho. Very vibrant and fun area with lots of people and little shops. The show itself was just excellent. There 10+ performers, skilled in multiple disciplines from dance, to Capoeira to playing drums and berimbau. A great, artistic exploration of Afro-Brazilian, culture, history, resistance and experience. The buffet-style dinner was good too. Excellent experience!!!

Great Evening Out - This was an amazing experience! Great introduction into the African History of Salvador. The tour guide and pick up service was superb. The dinner after the show was also delicious. Would highly recommend this tour!

Definitely see the show, maybe not with this company - The show was excellent and should definitely be part of your trip. Note the show is only Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I booked my ticket for Saturday through this company because that’s what fit into my schedule and what was offered on the site. Fortunately, I was able to reschedule to a Monday show, but I felt the tour guide was trying to pressure me to go on Friday even though I informed her I was already on another tour. The company did confirm my reservation w/ me on Thursday for Friday’s show but I didn’t catch the date wasn’t for Saturday. So I was confused when the tour guide contact me on Friday about pick up for the show later that evening. It all worked out in the end. I was able to be picked up my hotel, which I believe is outside their normal pick up area. It was a little awkward being the only English speaker on the trip, but I was able to buy a solo ticket and the guide tried to help me order at the restaurant. Even though I was able to see the show, it was frustrating to have to change my plans because the company lists the incorrect dates on the site.

Show very good; tour unnecessary - The show was very good and the performers very talented. But if you’re staying in Pelourinho there is no reason to book this “tour” which simply involves walking with you from your hotel. This is only one of multiple Folklorico options and you may do better by checking out these options and booking on your own once there.

Misleading advertising! the show does not include dinner! - The show is beautiful, but the agency, in addition to taking us very late (we were in the front row but on the shore, so we had a partial view of the stage) had misleading advertising, since the experience is sold as dinner + show (only It does not include drinks) and when the confirmation arrived it said it did not include dinner. The same thing happened to all the passengers of the van, they blamed the platforms where it was offered but the strange thing is that we bought them on different platforms.
