Devil’s Tower -Mount Rushmore -Crazy Horse Monument -Casper

Devils Tower National Monument - Devils Tower is a laccolithic butte made of igneous rock in the Bear Lodge Mountains. The name originated in 1875 during an expedition led by Colonel Richard Irving Dodge, when his interpreter reportedly mistranslated a native name to mean “Bad God’s Tower.” All information signs in the area use the name “Devils Tower,” following a geographic naming standard that omits the apostrophe.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial - Mount Rushmore features 60-foot sculptures of the heads of four U.S. presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, carved into the granite face of the mountain.

Crazy Horse Memorial - The Crazy Horse Memorial is an ongoing mountain monument project on private land in the Black Hills, South Dakota. It will depict the Oglala Lakota warrior Crazy Horse riding a horse and pointing to his tribal land. The monument is being carved out of Thunderhead Mountain, considered sacred by some Oglala Lakota, and is located between Custer and Hill City, about 17 miles from Mount Rushmore. The project began in 1948 and is far from completion. If finished as planned, it will be the world’s second tallest statue, after the Statue of Unity.

Independent Rock -Salt Lake City

Utah State Capitol - The Utah State Capitol is the seat of government for the state of Utah. It houses the chambers and offices of the Utah State Legislature, the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Auditor, and their staffs. The main building of the Utah State Capitol Complex, it overlooks downtown Salt Lake City from Capitol Hill. Designed by architect Richard K.A. Kletting in a Neoclassical revival, Corinthian style, it was built between 1912 and 1916 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Temple Square - Temple Square is a 10-acre complex owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in the center of Salt Lake City. It includes the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake Tabernacle, Salt Lake Assembly Hall, the Seagull Monument, and two visitors’ centers. Designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1964, it recognizes the Mormon achievement in settling Utah.

Salt Lake City –Home

Salt Lake City - Today, we’ll visit the Great Salt Lake to enjoy its beautiful scenery! Known as “America’s Dead Sea,” the Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere. Its high salt content allows people to float in the water! The tour guide will arrange for you to take light rail, Uber, or a hotel shuttle to the airport. It is recommended to book a flight departing after 8:00 PM.

Itinerary:

Salt Lake City → Great Salt Lake (30 mins) → Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)

Great Salt Lake - The Great Salt Lake in northern Utah is the largest inland saltwater body in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most saline inland bodies of water in the world. Fed by the Bear, Weber, and Jordan rivers, it has no outlet and fluctuates greatly in size due to evaporation and river flow. Like the Dead Sea, it exists in an arid environment and has chemical characteristics similar to the oceans but with much higher salinity due to natural evaporation exceeding the water supply from the rivers.

Salt Lake City International Airport - Drop-off at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). It is recommended to book a flight departing after 12:00 PM. The tour guide will arrange for you to take a shuttle, Uber, or hotel shuttle to the airport.

Awful experience with TripAdvisor - On first day 9/28/2023 no a shuttle to pick us up from airport and drive to the hotel, in your itinerary tour guy should meet us at the hotel lobby @4 PM, no one came by the time. Group was 8 people, van "Ford" was so old and absolutely uncomfortable, no rooms for legs, no good working AC. Second day were driving 12 hrs with only small stops about 30-min. , though trip itinerary indicated to spend 5 hrs in the park. We spend only 1-1.5 hour. Because of that long drive and uncomfortable vehicle without rest, we got an health emergency situation and must cancel the trip on next day. We were on trip only one day. TripAdvisor _Jupiter Legend corporation even can not issue a refund, though TripAdvisor should insure the trip. Very awful organized trip.
