Bestest! - Absolutely wonderful experience with Travel&Healing. I went in July for my 37th birthday. This trip was all I wanted and more: spiritual, healing, cultural, and outdoorsy. From the beginning my experience has been flawless: emailing with Tito and organizing the logistics was easy, communication was always prompt and instructive. My retreat included Trifecta ceremony with Solomina, and it was beyond special, connecting with the Andean culture and giving my offering to Pachamama set me up for a great trek. My Wachuma ceremony with sweetest Maestro Danilo in mountains of Moon Temple was a very profound experience, and I felt very safe and supported, and guided. I did 5 day trek to Salkantay- difficult trek but so worth it. Raquel, my guide, went above and beyond to make sure I have an excellent experience. Her knowledge in local culture and Andean cosmology made it such a fun and educational time. Ayni (David), the yoga instructor, made sure I was ready for the trek in the morning with stretches and yoga sequences, and we finished the long days of trekking with full 1 hour yoga. When you hike for 25km a day, your muscles will thank you for some stretches. Overall, it was a Life changing trip! Having the right support when trekking is very important, especially when you are solo in a foreign country. Staff of Travel&Healing was the best support anyone could ask for. p.s. special thank you for a warm sleeping bag! It seemed people who brought their own struggled with the cold, the bag provided by travel and healing was perfect for cold mountain temperatures at night.

Enlightened by the Inka Way - Wow, a life changing experience that will live with me forever. From the moment we landed in Cusco, we were greeted with the highest quality of service. Travel Designer Tito accompanied us around the city and explained the details of our 5 day spiritual journey, ensuring that we were prepared for the trip. He then handed us off to our Guide, a beam of sunshine, superwoman Soledad. Our journey on the trail began with Maestro Shaman Justino playing the flute to an Inkan tune of encouragement. We hiked up to the majestic Humantay Lake where Justino performed the first ceremony. Soledad translated the Quechuan language and walked us through the meditation. That night chef Fredy prepared a spectacular multi course meal and we spent hours around the table getting to know one another. Every day became more rich and fulfilling as we gained a true understanding of the Inka culture. Along the trail Soledad shared her knowledge about the flora and the healing attributes. Justino personalized the ceremonies and provided offerings that directly related to our lives. On day 3, I celebrated my 37th lap around the sun. Fredy went above and beyond and made a strawberry birthday cake with very limited kitchen facilities. Every meal was 5 star, reflecting his extraordinary culinary skills. From the high alpine of the sacred Salkantay to the jungle alongside the headwaters of the Amazon, the positive energy around this region is palpable, not to mention the impressive change of landscape. But the hiking is not for the faint of heart. The elevation change is big, with the majority of the Salkantay pass being downhill. Word of advice, go into the trip strong so you can feel healthy and ready to experience a journey of a lifetime. The Inkas really did find a slice of heaven. I will forever be grateful for my new Peruvian family and the beauty of the Inka culture. Thank you Travel & Healing for showing me the Inka way!

Beautiful and Memorable Experience - The organization and attention to detail throughout was amazing. We were woken up with hot coca tea and felt spoiled! The food was fantastic and every person put conscious thought into making our trekking experience seamless and memorable. The scenery itself is quite unique as the trek traverses from mountain to rain forest. Our guide Willy created a really supportive environment that made us feel like family by the end of the journey and our yoga instructor David was exceptional. The yoga practice and shamanic ceremonies really contributed to physical and emotional healing on the journey. Thank you!
