Saligao saunter - Had a wonderful experience with Namrata in Saligao. It was really cool to see the village life and know the history behind it. Highly recommend

Loved it! - We had a lovely time walking around Saligao village with Dr. Namrata. It’s a beautiful and peaceful walk with the right amount of information, views, halts and also a little local treat to end the evening. Dr.Namrata was extremely kind and friendly. If your idea of travel involves meeting new people and having off beat local experiences, don’t miss this :)

Beautiful village your - We had a lovely tour with Dr Biswas. She showed us around Saligao village and taught us a lot about local life. It was a beautiful tour, full of coconut palms and rice fields. Recommend!

Quieter side of Goa - This tour is must if you like to see quieter side of Goa away from the beach bustle.

Worth it - A perfect evening with Dr.Biswas
It was around 2 hrs, we were also served coffee and a few local delicacies.

Amazing experience with Rachana - Had a wonderful time exploring Saligao village with Rachna! She was a fantastic guide, sharing interesting stories and insights with her beautiful sketches. Highly recommend.

Saligoa walk - We took this walk with Rachnab and she was absolutely amazing! She explained the geology and geography of Goa and then moved on to the architecture of the unique Saligoa church. She described everything so clearly that we could really see the between two very different architectural styles.
What made it even more special was her tiny sketchbook — she had drawn the different architectural elements by hand so that we could easily understand what she was talking about.
The most unique part of her tour was a small poem she shared, dedicated to the mother Mary shrin, and the way she pointed out the special statue of Mother Mary inside.
Walking through the village was an unforgettable experience — passing by big, beautiful Goan houses, learning their stories, and finally ending the tour inside a traditional Goan home.
It was a walk full of history, art, and heart — highly recommended! 🌿⛪

Saligao Village Saunter - The Saligao Village Saunter conducted by storyteller Rachana Pednekar was an amazing experience. She told us about the history of the village it's origins and gave a detailed information of the Mae De Deus church, it's architecture and what festivals are celebrated there. She guided us through the narrow and beautiful roads of the village showing us the important places of the village. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for sure.
