- Salento - SALM DIVE. The experience commences at 9:00 am, where visitors are outfitted in traditional attire of the era (women in chapolera dresses and men as Coffee Growers) and board the iconic ‘Jeep Willys,’ a symbol of the region’s heritage.\nUpon arrival at the coffee plantation, guests are greeted by the coffee farmer who introduces them to a sensory journey infused with the essence of coffee.\nParticipants engage in rural tasks typical of the plantation, such as selecting seeds for planting, harvesting, depulping, roasting, and ultimately savoring a freshly brewed cup of coffee.\nFor lunch, guests partake in a communal Sancocho, a quintessential dish of the area, accompanied by Bogadera (a traditional beverage of aguapanela with lemon).\nAs they explore the farm, visitors are encouraged to pick and taste various fruits directly from the trees and learn why this region is recognized as a Coffee Cultural Landscape, a designation of World Heritage by UNESCO.
