2 days Paramo Trek - We spent 1 night and 2 days hiking with our wonderful guide Yeyo. We always wanted to see the paramo and they made it happen:). Our guides were very informative, you will have more then enough food, they provided hot tea or coffee often, especially at night when it gets chilly at the farm(0-3° C). We stayed in a tradition Colombian farm. It was busy with lots of other hikers. water was avaiable throughout the treks and at the farm using a water filter. The scenery is beautiful! The guides are well informed on altitude sickness and have your safety in mind! We did not bring hiking gear to Colombia with us- Salento Hikers had great equiptment for us to rent- a backpack, hiking boots and poles. The accommodation is basic and the common space is small and gets full quickly if it's busy. This was a great experience for us :)
