Additional Information

This exploration is exclusively conducted by Krystina, an expert historian with specialization in witchcraft history who has showcased her knowledge on national and international academic platforms.

The expedition will highlight Salem’s shadowed past: the actual events of the witch trials (both inside and outside Salem), the Old Witch Gaol, the former County Jail, and the casualties of the Salem witch trials.

This tour is intended for adults. Discussions will involve injustice, authentic criminal cases, fatalities, capital punishments, the historical events of witch trials and the maltreatment of individuals on the basis of race, religion, and gender. These discussions are not meant for sensationalism or extremity, it is purely my zeal to represent the history as accurately as possible. I eagerly await to unveil the obscured side of this magnificent city to you.

Fun and educational tour experience - The tour was amazing! Very engaging and entertaining. I sometimes find my mind wandering in tours, but Krystina did a great job keeping things interesting the whole two hours, despite how uncomfortable the cold was. I appreciated the expertise Krystina holds as a historian. Learning this history was exactly what I wanted while visiting Salem. I also recommend her podcast, Effed Up History, for short, fun, and informative stories about Salem and otherwise!

History without the drama - Krystina adapted the tone of her tour to our younger group and gave us a great history lesson on Salem witches and beyond! We learned about traditional Salem witches, fictional witches and some more history of Salem. This was a fast-paced trip through Salem with plenty to pay attention to.

Very informative. - A terrific tour with an expert in Salem history and the occult. We were part of a small group and Kristine made it extra personable. Nothing hokey or sensationalized, just the facts, which are disturbing enough. Highly recommend.
