Great experience for elementary kids - Our tour guide was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. She was engaging to my 6 and 9 year old sons who still bring up things they learned. The tour was nice and walkable and I learned some things too!

Perfect for Kids and Families of any age - This tour was amazing! It was just perfect for the kids and parents, too. The information was presented in a way that was relatable and easy to understand. Our kids understood the importance of the information discussed. It was the perfect balance between the Salem Witch Trials that made the town "famous" and other historical information. The tour guide is a history teacher in the area and the adults in our group ended the tour wishing we had had history teachers like her. The kids remembered things days later and are still talking about the things they learned. We highly recommend this tour.

So much fun for kids and adults - We took our two daughters (ages 6 & 9) and they both had a really good time. The tour was exciting for them and us and the guide was very energetic and made the tour go by really quick. She answered any questions we had and we really knowledgeable about the area. The kids said the best past was learning about the spooky cemetery. If you book this wonderful experience plan enough time to find parking, we had to run so we wouldn’t be late.

The only best way to tour Salem! - I took my 6 children to Salem and cannot say enough about the History Walking Tour. I plan on coming back to go on the other tour they offer! John was an incredible tour guide. He made the tour educational and memorable! The tour was our favorite part of our trip to Salem! I loved our tour guide’s parting wisdom about standing up for the truth and taking the opportunities presented on our journeys in life because we don’t know the lasting impression we will have on history. 5 stars!

Great Time Had By All - We decided to go on the historic tour so our 9 year old wouldn't be too scared with all of the "ghost stories". Alicia was very accommodating, energetic, engaging and knowledgeable. My 9 year old was never bored and she learned a lot...so did the parents! Alicia covered a lot of Salem history (not just about the witch trials). She definitely covered the witch trials, but presented facts, rather than the commercialized version we were trying to avoid. The tour (earlier this week) went about 15 minutes over, which I think was due to the kids asking so many questions (because they were so interested); therefore, if you make plans afterwards, you might give yourself a little buffer of time. The tour never felt rushed, although we saw and heard a lot, and Alicia was cognizant of the heat/humidity and tried to make stops where shade was available. Overall, a great experience! Thanks, Alicia!

Fantastic, informative tour all while learning some History - Time well spent. With many tours available, this one by far was the best. The kids loved it and the adults did too! Our guide, Alicia, took the time to greet the children in the group and answered all their questions with patience and age appropriate answers. The hour interactive tour flew by as there was laughter with information that we were still talking about hours later. We did other tours while in Salem and this one was by far the best! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic Customer Service - Great customer service, very communicative, and so accommodating! We won't be able to do our tour this time around due to weather, but we'll definitely book with them again

Incredible tour for kids and families - Alicia was a fantastic tour guide!! She made our trip to Salem so much more meaningful. My kids are 8 & 14 - and Alicia was able to keep their attention and interest for an hour and a half - no small feat! She shared so many interesting details that we really felt like we got a nice picture of Salem through the centuries. The kids and I went back through the places she took us the next day and talked about what we had seen and learned. It was really great to see how much they took in and how it gave them such a deeper understanding of this incredible historic town, and the witch trials too. This is probably the most important thing you can do for your kids if you’re visiting Salem. As an adult - it was a wonderful tour for me too. I learned so much more than I had ever heard or read about. I love that now we feel like we can really picture the town and history when we think of Salem. It’s so much more than we expected! (Alicia pointed us in the right direction for lunch - which was AMAZING! She seriously knows everything there is to know about this town!)
