  • The cemetery is wheelchair accessible, however the terrain is gravel and may prove difficult for some scooters. We recommend contacting the Charter Street Cemetery Welcome Center with questions about accessibility.

The Axelrod Walkway Park is a beautiful, tree-lined park next to the Peabody Essex Museum. Across the street from the Salem Visitor Center, follow signs for the Witch Trials Memorial. Your guide will meet you on the Charter Street side of the park.
