Coastal road from Salalah towards the Yemeni border. Raw, stunning nature. - The landscape on this coastal road/track is stunning. You have to turn inland beyond Al Mughsail beach for a few kilometres to get round the mountains in the distance in the photo. Then you descend off the escarpment down a hairpin track for 5 kms before you hit the shore at Al Fazayah beach. At this point you are about 80/90 kms from the Yemeni border. I did the trip with my wife in a taxi. No need for a tour - just go outside your hotel and negotiate a deal with any taxi driver who is around. It's that simple. Most speak enough English and some are pretty fluent.

Excellent experience by Salalah Glory Tours - We( family of 4) visited Salalah in the first week of June ,2023.I contacted Mr.Ahmed Almahry of Salalh glory tours for a day tour to West Salalah. He is courteous, kind, knowledgeable and a fun guide. He accimpanied us on a beautiful walk tour in the famous Salalah farms .Post lunch we headed to Mughsael beach , the Maneef caves and the Ittin mountains . Mr Ahmed was more like family to us and he ensured that we had a pleasant experience in his beautiful country. I highly recommend Salalah glory tours and wish the best for Mr.Ahmed.

Beautiful beaches - The trip was amazing and the tour guide was one of best. he really knew the places, we took a ride to many beautiful beaches and he ended the trip with a beach picnic which I loved.
