Wonderful city tour - We did a city tour with Salim on January 15th. It was a very nice day. We saw a lot and Salim was able to explain everything to us well and in detail. He had an answer to all of our questions. We are very grateful to Salim for his hard work. He introduced us to his country and its people with great enthusiasm. Everything was very informative. It was a great pleasure for us to do the tour with this personable and friendly person. For us, Salim is the best guide. Conny and Jörg from Munich

Excellent - Salalah doesn't have much to offer and we wouldn't have discovered what it does have without this tour. Our guide Salim was excellent: pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to change the plan to suit our preferences. He contacted us the day before to sort out the details of our meeting. His car was clean and comfortable and his driving was careful.

A great tour guide and a very good therapist! - Our day in Salalah with Salim was delightful. Salim is an excellent representative for the people of Oman. He communicated with us before the tour and let us know precisely where to meet him at the port, while other passengers were left to guess where to meet their guides. The tour was well organized and throughout the day he listened carefully to our wishes and did his utmost to fulfill them, even convincing a shopkeeper to sell me a bowl that I wanted that was not for sale. He explained a great deal about Omani culture and shared with us the everyday experiences of Omani life while dispensing insightful life advice. Numerous times his generosity of spirit extended to help other travelers in need of assistance. From listening to Salim singing verses from the Koran in the mosque, to enjoying a refreshing cold coconut juice, to sipping a milk tea with freshly made flatbread at a cafe near Job’s Tomb, it is a day we won’t ever forget. Thank you, Salim, for welcoming us to the Land of Four Seasons and the Land of Frankincense.

Salala trip-Satisfied but not good - The communication to agree on the pick-up location and time worked smoothly. We were picked up on time and were shown almost all of the places except for the trip to the tomb of Nabi Ayub (Prophet Job), which was a shame. The driver was very taciturn, so we hardly learned anything about the places. There was no water in the car.

Guides didn't know what was included in the tour and resisted takeing us to advertised sites. - The frankensence museum was closed and the guides didn't know till we got there. Shopping seemed to be the target of our guides and they were more than happy to introduce us to their villagers. We finally convinced them that ending the tour one hour early was not acceptable and they wound up taking us to a water fall with no water and not to the falls on our agenda.
