- Wadi Dawkha - Drive via ‘Qara’ mountains. On a road progressively zigzagging up a vertical hill, herds of Camels & Cattle are a commonly spotted on the way which gives a picturesque view of one of Dhofari environments. Stop and visit Wadi Doka in the beginning of Najd (semi-desert) district 35 kilometres north of Salalah towards toward Thumrait (Bedouins settlement). Arrive at this UNESCO registered national reserve that contains 1230 perennial frankincense trees covering an area of 5 km² and have a real experience about this valuable famous tree. In addition to its scented smell, frankincense is also used as a remedial element

Set back in our air-conditioned 4WD, while our experienced guide immerses you in the beauty of Rub’ al Khali Desert. Start by a drive through Dhofar Mountains towards the Empty Quarter. Arrive at Wadi Dokah, where you will learn about frankincense trees in its natural habitat over an area of 5 km square grove. Proceed to Thumrait to taste the Arabian hospitality with coffee and dates while you learn about Bedouin’s culture. Continue on a paved road to the archaeological site of Ubar (the lost city), while our guide plunges you in the story behind this interesting World Heritage Site. Finally, arrive at dunes of empty quarter, where you will embark on an exciting dune-pashing activity before capturing a marvellous sunset scene. End your day happily relaxing on a high golden sand dune, while capturing the beauty of desert sunset in the Empty Quarter Desert. Return to pick up point.

Half day Sunset tour to Empty Quarter - The sunset trip was awesome and we really enjoyed it. Hamid was an outstanding and very knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed the local stories told by him. He took us to any amazing location to view the sunset. Would definitely recommend him . Would love to come back.

Great experience between dunes and history on Oman! - Great experience. Our guide Hamid was very professional and took care of us making sure we had the best experience, arriving at the dunes in time for a unique experience.
Hamid was very knowledgeable on Oman history and we appreciated him sharing the historical facts of his country.

Arabian Desert Adventure - What a wonderful adventure into the Arabian Desert! Mohammed was the perfect guide as we toured first the Frankincense trees and he even brought me my own bag as a souvenir! The Desert trip is far but worth the journey! I highly recommend bringing a bottle of wine to watch the sunset. Photos were worth the trip.

Unique experience in the Desert - I highly recommand this tour!
It was fantastic and was exactly as in the description. The sunset experience in the Empty Quarter was one of the best experience (lot of dunes and very high)!
The drive with Hamed was pleasant, he is very interesting and does know the region very well.

Super Oman - Everything was completely PERFECT
Actually I had some doubts going into the desert with 3 small children but Ahmed was nice and helpful! He customized our trip and he was brillant!! We had a wonderful experence and our children made an unique experience
We had a stop also to see all the stars above the sky on our way going back!
After this great day, Ahmed took us also into the city of Salalah where we have seen all the main attractions and also an hidden part of the city!!!
We had also great shopping there
We made a lot of questions to Ahmed and he was always clear and funny
We learned a little bit about Oman life and history

Best tour guide ! - Whilst the weather disrupted our plans...Hamid was extremely friendly and professional. I took comfort from the fact he was concerned with our safety.
