Great service with a lot of hanbok selections! - We planned to go early to the palace so the hanbok rental place was not packed yet and we were accommodated right away and my hair was done quickly! There were a lot of dresses and accessories to choose from. I only chose the standard hanbok and it looked awesome! I recommend this place 100%!!

Definitely recommend - This was a wonderful experience! We had a great time picking out our attire to tour the palace in. The customer service was excellent and very friendly! I would definitely recommend this! We even got in the palace for free bc we were dressed in the traditional Hanbok attire!

Good Rental - Was what it promised. No problem with process of pickup or return. We enjoyed going out in local dress and did not feel out of place.

Love feeling like part of the tradition! - Loved this experience. Got there for first 9am appointment and was taken right away. Picked out from a large variety of hanbok- so many beautiful options! Got my hair done- loved the braids- was included in the package. Put personal items on locker and walked around Gyeongbokgung Palace for about 2 hours - location conveniently only a block away. Chose the theme hanbok which had much more fancy variety than the traditional. Recommend going early to avoid the crowds!

Foreigner Friendly, Great Staff, Easy Process, Cute Hanboks! - This shop had a very foreigner friendly presence, with not only the signs being in English but the staff also spoke English as well. The staff are wonderful and were very helpful with guiding you and helping you with your Hanbok. This experience made going to the Palace even more special and enjoyable.

A fun experience in Chimachogoli - I was able to wear hanbok with my daughter, which I wanted to try on at one time, and the rental shop system was very easy to understand, and the staff was very friendly and handy, and I enjoyed the experience. It was a good memory.

Hugely Disappointed - This was the top thing on my parents bucket list when it came to going to South Korea for the first time. There’s numerous rental stores around this area and it was hard to find the actual store. They gave us a locker to store our valuables in but it was broken so good thing we checked if it worked first. I understand that usually in Asian countries the sizes are way smaller compared to the U.S. but I was hugely disappointed to find that if you usually wear a medium or larger that you can only pick from a small part of the rack which lacked so much in different color choices and designs compared to the many other racks We were one of the first people in line and the short collection to choose from would suck even more if we came in a later time especially if all the custom larger sizes are all rented out for a few hours to see the temple. There was one very accommodating worker but everyone else seemed to be rushing us through the experience.

Disappointing experience at Hanboknam - I had a disappointing experience at Hanboknam. The service was poor — the staff were unhelpful and seemed too stressed to assist customers. The process felt rushed, and I didn’t feel welcomed or guided properly when selecting or fitting the hanbok. For a place that caters to tourists and special cultural experiences, I expected a lot more professionalism and friendliness. I wouldn’t recommend this hanbok rental to anyone

Go to any other local shop and you'll have a much better experience with nicer clothing! - This place is an impersonal machine with poor-quality hanboks. There are LOTS of other options on the same block, and any one of them will give you a better experience while also giving you a better hanbok. As we were walking around the palace for the next hour, I couldn't help but notice how much better quality everyone else's hanboks were than ours. Do yourself a favor - walk into any other shop that this one!
