Great solo ride with Gilles! - I'm so grateful to have had a solo tour with Gilles! We had a great tour around town and then rode to Deep Bay beach in Five Islands village. We weren't able to do our kayaking due to weather conditions but Gilles ensured that he filled the time appropriately. I also ended up being a little slower than I expected due to heat exhaustion and Gilles was very patient and accommodating. We stopped for breaks as necessary. The conversation was nice as well and I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the day!

Best excursion on our cruise - We had a great time on this excursion! We highly recommend it. Giles was a terrific guide, gave us all kinds of great information and interesting stories. Loved each part of it. The beach we stopped at was gorgeous. The fort was a great find! Definitely book it!

Fun times! - One of the best tours we have ever had on vacation! Gilles, the tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and so very kind! This is a must do while you're in Antigua!

Very nice tour. Would recommend to others. - The tour was supposed to include biking, hiking & Kayaking. The water level was too low for Kayaking, which actually worked out well because it gave us more time on the beach, which was nice. The beach was in front of a resort and we were able to use their facilities (chairs, bathroom, bar, etc). It was a beautiful beach with clear water and soft white sand. Not much hiking involved either, which was also fine because we enjoyed being on the bikes most of the time and seeing the city. The bikes were good quality mountain bikes and there were 6 people on the tour. Giles was a great guide. The bike riding started right off the bat in the city at the cruise terminal, which was fine for us, but non-experienced bike riders might not like it. There wasn't any major elevation associated with the biking so it was a very easy ride.

A fun easy tour with an incredible guide! - Our guide Giles was possibly the friendliest, most knowledgeable guide we have ever had. He made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, due to low water, we were unable to do the kayak portion of the tour, but Giles was up front about the issue (definitely not his fault) and extended our bike, walk and beach stay to offset it. The bikes were comfortable cruisers that were well maintained, and the total ride ended up being about 8 miles of flat terrain. We are avid cyclists, so the distance and terrain was an easy cruise for us. Anyone with even moderate fitness could do this tour. It was fun to ride through the city and residential areas to the beach and fort and learn about the history - definitely more enjoyable than riding around in a bus. Highly recommended!

Fabulous day!!! - Great day with Giles and a wonderful family of 3. We cruised all over the area and hiked up to the fort. The water was too shallow for kayaking so we just biked more! You really get a sense of life on the island as you bike through the local neighborhoods and learn lots about the schools, plants and birds, economy and so much more! I highly recommend!!! It was a fun experience!

This is an excursion you should definitely consider! - I heartily endorse this excursion. The cost is reasonable especially compared to other excursions and what you get for your money. The three different activities is a nice blend and allows you to experience more of Antigua. Giles has the perfect personality for this type of excursion. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and he provides you with a lot of pictures of your experience the following day. One thing I will mention is that I believe this is a one person operation....the heretofore mentioned awesome Giles. The reason I am bringing this up is because Giles does each tour himself and if you go on the mid-day tour like we did then your tour is not going to start until Giles returns with the group he took out in the morning. Our tour was supposed to start at noon but when no one showed up at that time we began to be concerned thinking we might have been stood up and lost our money. We tried to call the number that is provided but there was no answer on our many call attempts.....but the reason being is that Giles cannot answer the phone or respond to messages when he is out on another tour with a different group. But Giles did return and we started on our way only about 20 minutes late. One final point to mention that may be relevant to other people. As you will see in the various pictures provided with other reviews most of the people taking this tour are "young" and appear to be in good physical shape. This excursion is a fair amount of physical activity but my wife and I are both 70 years old and we were able to do this. Were we almost "done in" by the end of the tour.....yes, but we did it!

Super Fun! But.... - Our guide was absolutely fantastic & very knowledgeable, but I can only give this tour a 4 star mainly due to the older bikes that clearly have not been maintained. My husband had no gears and unfortunately was stuck in the hardest gear for the whole tour. The roads that you ride on are less than ideal making the ride a bit more challenging. We love the concept of a "triple activity tour" and it was fun, it just could have been better mostly because of the condition of the bikes & the poor street conditions. We are in our 50s and very comfortable on bikes just as a point of reference when deciding if this tour is right for you.

A real backstage insight to Antiqua - We got to see things a regular tourist wouldn't. We learned so much about the history of Antigua, the vegetation, and wildlife. We didn't get to kayak due to extreme low water but made up for it with extra bike riding.

It wasn’t a triple but a double, shame. - Unfortunately the Kayaking element didn’t happen due to insurance problems and the tour was just the two of us. Which was a shame as the cycling and walking part was ok and Giles the host seemed a great guy and really knowledgeable.
