A visit to Bob Marley’s home at Nine Mile includes a tour of the property from Rastafarian guides, which usually includes a rendition of one of Bob’s songs, memorabilia, his famous “rock pillow” where he rested his head for inspiration and the Marley mausoleum. There are two tombs in the mausoleum, one where Bob Marley is buried along with his half-brother, Anthony Booker. The second tomb is that of Cedella Booker, Bob Marley’s mother or “Mamma Marley” as she was sometimes called.

Bob Marley was born and is also buried in Nine Miles, a small town in the remote hills of St Ann. Marley spent his childhood in this small house in Nine Miles before relocating to Trench Town in Kingston. Whenever he needed to meditate, relax, or just chill, he would often return to his birthplace. This location significantly inspired some of his most popular songs. During this tour, you’ll get the chance to explore his home, see a gallery, visit a museum and a mausoleum, all while enjoying Marley’s iconic music.

Had a great time - This is the best tour i have been on since i am in Jamaica. My driver Carlos was very friendly and knowledgeable. He taught us how to say some words in the native language. He treated us like family. At Bob Marley's house we learnt about the culture and about Bob Marley as a child. Overall great experience and would do it again.
