Happy Saigon Tour - I did a solo tour with Happy and it was the best experience ! Technically it was a food tour, but I couldn’t eat much and got full. Happy suggested we turn it into a city tour ! We travel around districts and drove through alley ways that you wouldn’t think exist! We also went to go paint statues indoor since my allergies started acting up (haha). We also stop by a pharmacy to get medicine ! Happy made me feel welcomed and you will never get bored ! He’s very knowledgeable and has many stories. Thank you bro, I’ll be back with my friends haha

Delicious food and interesting conversation - We got to try 5 amazing food spots around different districts of the city while riding on the back of Happy and his teams scooters. Each dish was more tasty than the last and we were given great insight into the history of the food and city at the same time

Amazing food tour - I did the Super Niche Food Tour and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. It was a highlight for me and my partner during our stay in Vietnam! Not only did we learn so much, we had a lot of fun and laughs. Happy and Mei Mei and all the guides were super welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable the whole way. Food was excellent and I genuinely didn’t see any other tourists around. You can tell they are very passionate about what they do! Definitely worth it and so fun.

HCM City Food Tour - Starlight, DD and Reba took me and my friends on an amazing food tour! What made the food tour to be such an experience were all the stories behind it! Each stop gets better and better! To be honest, I don’t know where to put those good stuff in but as they say, calories don’t count during a vacation 😂 First stop was the streetside barbecue. Such a simple yet amazing dish! It was beef mixed with pork fat and another was beef wrapped in betel leaves. You know you are in for an amazing tour when you start like this and I was not wrong! The next stop was a noodle soup dish. Its not your usual Pho as it was duck meat served with turmeric noodles 🤤 Next stop was the meat cups (forgot the name) wrapped in rice paper and served with veggies. Dip them in their fish sauce mix and voila! Then came my personal favorite! Barbecue pork served with fried duck egg & pickled veggies served over broken rice! Its my first time to try broken rice and without bias, I like it better than white rice. What made this stop special is the story behind the origins of broken rice. I thought the eating will stop here but there’s more! Next stop is what they call Vietnamese Pizza! It was a street side stall wherein rice paper is stuffed with a mixture of pork, shrimps, greens and Uncle’s special sauce and grilled over open charcoal! Starlight told us that this was their go to meal when they were still in school because aside from being budget friendly, it is surprisingly very filling!
To cap off the night, we had some Vietnames mangoes and dragon fruit over at our guide’s house! Such a glorious way to end the night! We bonded over fruits and personal stories! On the day I will go back in Vietnam, I will still look for this bunch! You guys must try their tour!!! 😊

The team ensured that a genuine connection and friendship was formed; there was essentially no barrier among us. A voyage not just through food, but through the heart of Saigon itself. Don't miss it!

Still dreaming of the food! - This tour was my favorite part of our Vietnam trip! We laughed, ate the tastiest food, and felt at home with this group. I highly recommend this to my friends and family who will be visiting Vietnam.

Good times with Happy 😃 - If you’re looking for a local food tour,
look no further. I booked the tour for our party made up of 2 families from England and Australia.
We were a little hesitant at first as we had 4 children ranging from 10 -17 on scooters in Saigon!!
Worry not as it’s a way of life here. You are each paired up with a member of Happy’s amazing and knowledgable team, then you’re off on a wild ride around the city. (Little kids ride with the driver and parent on the same scooter).
I read another review that said the scooter ride was worth the price on its own and it’s true.
The food is something else and trust amazing with Happy talking all the time giving interesting facts and information both about the HCMC history and of course, the food. Happy also catered for my wife, who is celiac ( with no symptoms experienced!)
You may be thinking about hygiene as we were. Although to us the places may seem basic, it’s fine - none of us were ill after and Happy sanitises your hands at every stop.
Happy has a naturally infectious personality and his team did a great job in creating memories that will
last a lifetime!
Definitely not one to miss 🛵🍜🍚🍛

Incredibly insightful, felt like hanging out with mates - We booked a food tour with Happy after seeing him on Instagram. Genuinely had such a great time driving around on the back of a scooter seeing the roads and backstreets of Saigon from a true local’s perspective. The food stalls we tried were off the beaten track and different to everything we had eaten so far (the beef in betel leaf in a bánh mí was a highlight). Happy and his team were so kind and accommodating that I felt like we were just hanging out with some friends. Would definitely do another tour if we were here for longer!

THE tour for authentic Saigon street food - hidden gems galore! - An amazingly insightful tour, perfect for those who want a true taste of Ho Chi Minh & far from all the tourist hotspots. We got to try a lot of classic Vietnamese dishes that were on my list and we didn’t have many days here so this tour was perfect to go to all the hidden gems that happy and his team had very carefully selected. We ate like locals from small street food carts and everything we tried was delicious - it was definitely clear that we were eating really good, authentic dishes of Saigon. Bonus that we also got to experience the rush hour bustle on the back of a scooter making the experience even more fun! Highly highly recommend to all foodies visiting HCMC!! Thank you Happy, Star and all the team!
